Adding something new to my blog.
So Codi started programming my workouts for me, and I started on Sunday. I'm working out at least 4 days a week; the other 3 days I can workout if I want. Today is the third day, so I'll be doing:
Squats: 3x6-8 "perfect" reps
Inverted rows: 3x6-10 reps (rest 90 seconds between sets)
Dumbbell bench press: 3x6-8 reps (rest 90 seconds)
Push-ups: 3 sets of max effort push-ups (rest 2 minutes)
Run or row 500 meters, rest 3 minutes, then repeat
I'm still sore from doing about 100 regular/goblet squats the other day, so this should be interesting.
I've been trying to eat healthier, but it's a little tough because I'm at school and don't want to do groceries for the week I have left here. But at least I'm doing the workouts. Even if they look like crap.
But everyone starts somewhere, right? I'll try to keep you guys updated on my progress.

Inverted Row
Apparently my brother in law already tried using a pull up bar here at home and it didn't worked out because the frames around the doors aren't strong enough. I never even saw him with the pullup bar before, it was probably a long time ago and I think he has a different pullup bar than what I have in mind, I'm personally looking at the Iron Gym Total Upper Body Workout Bar since I heard a lot of good things about that particular one.
In any rate I want to start doing more bodyweight exercises regardless if I can get a pull up bar or not. We have this old dip contraption thing that we never used, I think I can use it for inverted rows which should be a decent substitute for pull ups for the time being. I literately have just dumbbells in this house which meant I couldn't do many bodyweight exercises to target my biceps and back. I'm fine with chest & triceps but my biceps are lacking.
I guess if anything I could always work out in the fence in the backyard. If there's a will there's a way, am I right?
