I've finished an absolute delight of a bug illustration! Green Tortoise Beetle, which is now a species I'll be looking for as I'm yet to see one in person and I've been missing out!

Dasymutilla californica. I love velvet ants a lot, and so far have documented five species (including this one) in my region on inaturalist. They're just such fuzzy little things!
The woman who runs our crab group, Stacy, wrote a hermit crab care book!!! 255 pages!!! On biology and care and breeding and it's all super researched and she's amazing!!!! She's been working SO HARD on it, it's finally out, and I just bought the mobile version (getting the paper as soon as I have the money!!).
