Today's daily featured flag for 21 July, 2026 is the flag of the territory of Nunavut, Canada. This is definitely a stark contrast from the last one! This flag features a yellow and white bicolor (or and argent touching? scandalous!) with a red inukshuk and a tilted blue star. Nunavut is one of Canada's three territories, and its most recently created. Naturally, its flag followed its creation by a short amount of time- just -1 days. Not a typo. The flag was adopted for the territory one day before the territory existed. For one day, there was a Flag of Nunavut but no Nunavut. Why?? Irregardless, I love this design. I really like how the inukshuk just *barely* splits the two colors of the bicolor while simultaneously making it look like they still touch a tiny bit. It makes it look extremely natural!
