左官工は、建物の壁や床、天井などに仕上げ材を塗ったり、はったりする職人のことです。主に、新建材や改修工事現場などで、下地処理や仕上げ作業を行います。下地処理では、壁や床の表面をならしたり、穴やひび割れを補修したりします。仕上げ作業では、モルタルやプラスターなどの材料を塗ったり、はったりして、平らでなめらかな表面に仕上げます。
