Hey, I’ve been feeling inspired by your recent hair change, and I’ve also been missing my green hair that I used to have, so Im wanting to know how you did yours! What did you section out to bleach? Is it like in front of the ears up to the temple? Thanks!
lol dude, it’s been so HARD to find diagrams or like... a still image of how ppl did their hair like this. so i drew it out 😂. keep in mind, i’m not a hair professional or anything!!
how i did my hair: i sectioned it out like an inch and a half above my ear, then made a “U-shape” down the back to the other side. i did this cos i only wanted the bleached pieces to be “a surprise” when i tucked my hair back or put it up. i would say to section out pieces at least 2-3 inches up from the bottom of your hair? (does that make sense lo??l). but yeah! it’s a fun lil 90s peekaboo moment 😂 and totally forgiving if you mess up, since it’s the underside of your hair. sidenote: i have cool-toned black hair, and it took like 2 bleaches (and toning) to get to the [brassy] yellow blonde i have right now. i bleached them like a week apart, and now 3 weeks later i’m gonna bleach again. 💛 it’s a PROCESS.
