The fat that I got rid of! This photo was in 2017. Losing weight was a constant battle! In 2012, I became a poster boy of #TheRightApproach or TRA having lost 65lbs but gained back them back and more in 2018! I was at my heaviest at 320lbs in June 2018 when I got introduced to Herbalife. In five months, I lost 40lbs but plateaud for two months. In the 4th week of January 2019, I decided to try #IntermittentFasting doing the 16:8 model. I was weighing 280lbs. For three months, the weight loss was inspiring peaking at 40lbs lost. Then the dreaded plateau happened in June. That’s when I decided to do my early morning brisk walking. Everyday was a struggle to get out of bed but the physical changes brought by IF and exercising was encouraging so now I look forward to my daily exercise! In October, I learned to run properly again! Today I am still heavy at 210lbs. I hope to hit 200lbs by year end. And yes, my 62-inch waistline is down to 38 inches! Still a long way to go but I am going to gloat about this — the results of commitment to a healthy me is priceless! To those who have seen my weight loss journey, I have one advice: Losing weight doesn’t work like magic. Remember that it took you years to gain the excess pounds.
