This image says more about the beginning of the next chapter than the next chapter does.
My favorite part of this picture:
Suddenly filled with burning curiosity on how Aspect looked when he was a baby/little kid
Please please PLEASE tell me he was really fluffy and that his ears were the same size then as they are now and he had to grow into them like German Shepherd puppies
~ SCP-42605
He had a clear center part in his hair once upon a time. Aspect didn't always slick his hair back. Or wear so much jewelry. Or have so much body paint. He's no more or less fluffy, but he did grow into his ears and eyes a bit as he got older.
No face paint:
I made sprite art of the Interlink boys based on Minish Cap/Four Swords' style
In order:
Sky (SS), Gen (Hero of Men), Mini (MC), Junior (FS prologue's Hero of the Four Sword)
Forest, Ember, River, Quartz (FS/FSA)
Twilight (TP), Mask (OoT/MM/HW), Wind (WW/PH), Engineer (ST)
Vet (Hero of Legend), Verdi (ALBW/TFH), Echo (EoW) with and without hood
Mouse (TLoZ/AoL), Cap (HW), Aspect (Ancient Hero), Wild (BOTW/TOTK)
You can find out more about these guys here.
This has been fun, so I'm thinking of taking requests. If you would like me to give your Link a sprite treatment, please send me a picture of them. Make sure the picture is colored or please provide a color palette. And if you want a specific height/style, name which of the guys above you want me to base that on. Their names are in bold for easy reference.
I feel as though you should know that Gen showed up in my dream, if only by being mentioned. Also he was categorized as a magical girl in said dream, for some reason (if anyoneβs a magical girl, itβs someone like Twilight or Mask or Verdi or the Colors), but thatβs all I can remember of said dream

"Use your muscles that you worked so hard for!"
Audio from The Floor is Lava Episode 1
Inspired by that one room in the Eastern Temple, except I switched the Links around a little.
The premise is that a Link in the Dark World has to carry a Link in the Light World over a bunch of hazards to hit a switch. That's why the colors change between colorful and grey. A Link in the Dark World looks like a shadow in the Light World, and a Link in the Light World looks like a shadow in the Dark World, so the colors change depending on whose perspective it is.
