A few design renderings of a project I wasn’t expecting to resume this year.
Truth is, I have been encumbered by the lack of substantial progress in my writing endeavor and by the dwindling inspiration to paint, but I thank the Divine Source for the provision of an opportunity to consistently keep in touch with creativity and creation; to create something is just as gratifying as receiving!
So even when I’m swamped on holiday break because of a deadline, I’m ending 2025 doing one of the best things I love!
I wish you the same gratification while preparing for the New Year!
Love and crystal light,
Nicola
"The Word must be heard in the silence of the heart, the place in which it can be welcomed and given space so that it may become creative. From earliest times the advice given to those who wanted to learn the monastic way was always "to return to your own heart." This is the interior space for which there are so many different concepts: the inner cloister, the poustinia, the cave of the heart. It is simply "the place of God in us" which each of us will understand in a unique and mysterious way."
~ Esther de Waal, 'The Way of Simplicity'

I painted the inside of a restroom in the community theater that I was helping out as tech crew for a musical back in September 2019
Painted this based on the selfie I took of myself in the tech crew T-shirt last night of the performance
