some more details about Arcane Season 2 from the Annecy panel
I might be on to nothing but maybe there’s something to Sir John, a guy rlly desperate to rewrite how people remember him with the Franklin Expedition, wrote his own really intense funeral speech that wasn’t even his. Like his last words to the crew through this speech are impactful, but it’s meant to describe + pay respects to a totally different guy.
+ I’m pretty sure the only part Crozier changed was the name at the end
Idk smth smth even unintentionally he got to get a cool eulogy that portrayed him as brave and strong while simultaneously taking that from the man it was originally meant for.
Feel like I'm at my conspiracy board right now, but...this is probably the same set, right?
Genuine question what’s going on with the Tir Asleen monarchy. As in, what does the line of succession look like? If Sorsha in the Wyrm’s vision is to be believed, Sorsha has been moulding Kit to take the throne, be queen after her. Except its revealed that Airk is the older of the twins, which would usually mean he’s first in line. Yet he doesn’t seem to expect to be king (at least not until he’s possessed/corrupted). He says no one expects anything of him, he doesn’t list being king as one of the things he is intending to do and be in the future. Is he actually first in line? Or is it a maternal monarchy? Have they not decided yet?

I feel like any question or conflict regarding the Doctor as a character and person inevitably boils down to either "is life worth living?" and "does power equate to responsibility?" and that's fascinating
