Some days, lemme tell ya... I wound up working out at the Y because there was no parking on campus at the gym. No problem, I prefer working out at the Y. Aside from being Monday today is also leg day. Preparing for my first set after warming up I grabbed a 100 lb plate to load on the bar aaaaaaand the motherfucker slid out of hands, down my leg and came to a nice rest on top of my foot. I ain't gonna lie- it hurt like a sumbitch. I had to pace around for about 5 minutes to shake the pain. So what to do? If anything was a sign to throw up the hands and go home this was certainly the icing on the cake! Uuuuhhhh.... HELL NO!!! I finished loading that bar and blasted out a killer workout of about 30 sets in the 6-10 rep range and then blasted my calves!!! Why? Because I am #AboveTheRest when I'm #inthearena and there is no such thing as #failure in my vocabulary!!!! As you can see in fired up! I'm pumped!
