Here's a bit of proof that the scales don't in any way measure your worth. I weigh myself every 2wk, I do this not out of vanity, but practicality. I need to be weighed so I can calculate my calories, protein intake and the rest of my macros. 2wk ago I weighed 73.3kg, today I weigh 73.8kg, not a vast difference and probably down to being off diet this weekend while I made memories and had fun. . Does this bother me?.......No. It doesn't because I know why and I know I have been sitting pretty between 73-74kg for a while now. I also know that less isn't always better, not for me. Less food, less weight, less body fat, less sleep, less rest...... It all links together and has a knock on effect to training, strength, speed, stamina and so on. What I'm saying is that you have to know your "why" and work to that. Understand your trade-off and get comfortable in that place. You need a safe zone where you accept the ups and downs and allow yourself some life freedoms. Have gun and don't let the scales measure anything but your bodyweight.
