@loudwithlaughter said something yesterday that meant a lot to me, “you are the support system for others that you need to be for yourself” and idk, maybe I’m a big dumb dumb and this really only applies to me, but I made it into a lockscreen and I thought I would share it here for if anyone wants it. It’s in Taylor’s handwriting, and I also added “ok. breathe.” from the lover deluxe edition. It’s made specifically for iPads, so you can see the text even if you have a lot of apps in the way, but I also added a phone version 💗

Greta Thunberg is a sixteen-year-old Swedish environmental activist on climate change with the primary aim to motivate people and especially the youngest generations to start fighting for the safety of our planet. These days is the 74th session of the Un General Assembly, where leaders, ambassadors - countries representatives all around the world- met to combat the most crucial issues that our world faces. I have to admit that the way she talks really bothers me but who am I that I can judge her. Who am I that I can say something terrible about this sixteen-year-old young lady who started fighting since 2018 by spending days out of the Swedish parliament to call for immediate action on global warming. Look at her now she managed to be the at the real Un. She motivated and she obviously still does humans at an intentional level to start fighting for combatting the issue of climate change which is extremely important, although the majority of us do not yet understand it. Strikes and especially strikes that were strongly supported by students created through her. The amount of people that started fighting is genuinely outstanding. Maybe the majority of them do not understand why they are doing what they are doing; they do not understand the severity of the situation without supporting that I am entirely aware of it, but this young lady made me want to start researching about what me as an individual I can do. She said that she should be back at her school on the other side of the ocean because education is the only thing that can lead us, someone, nowadays but she was not. She traveled, she studied, she researched, she motivated. She did not let anyone and anything to stop her. She expressed herself better than she could. When I learned about her disease -Asperger's diagnosis- I started admiring her more. Despite her situation, which is not obviously problematic or something like that she was not afraid of expressing her beliefs and her ambitions. I feel fortunate that social media and a recent personal research about a mun interview led me to her. I admire her, and I truly respect her.
