#ginger #flowers There’s a rhizome or root growing under the soil out of sight. It’s spent winter strengthening, growing and developing in the cool darkness of soil - soil enriched by the presence of compost and worms all contributing to recycling of energy, transforming what was once old waste into valuable nourishment over time. And when nature gave the signal, she suddenly grew her green shoot up into the fresh air and showed her face to the light/dark cycles of the observable world. Daily more buds peel slowly open, revealing clusters of delicate petals and patterns of great intricacy. Ginger tells us that there’s so much transformation and energy exchange happening in the unseen world at all times: never doubt it. And when nature dictates, we also bloom, revealing previously dormant aspects of our nature.
