You could make Luigi’s sword into a side story, that way it wouldn’t interfere with anything you already had planned. He could show it off to Mario and Peach, let them hold it to see what form it would take and tell them how he got it. I would absolutely LOVE that😍😍😍

I know you only made the sword Luigi is holding for that one specific picture but…any chance it will appear in the comic? Like the Bros fighting with it, or a flashback of how Luigi found it? I’m more fascinated by this energy sword than I should be, then again I am a bit of a Star Wars nerd☺️

I just had an idea of how Luigi finds the sword!
Luigi’s been hearing voices for days now, it’s very soft barely above a whisper. No one else can hear it so they all think he’s insane, Luigi is starting to feel that way too. One night he can’t take it anymore so he sneaks out. He wanders the usual halls until he reaches somewhere Bowser explicitly said he’s not allowed, but the voice in his head is coming from that way and it’s practically screaming now. So ,scared and confused, he continues unknowingly setting off an alarm warning Bowser someone was approaching one of his treasure vaults. Luigi reaches where the swords being kept just before Bowser does takes the sword in his hands and for a moment everything is quiet and calm, then much to Luigi’s alarm a green blade of lightning shoots from the sword and nearly gives him a heart attack. That’s when Bowser finds him.
It's similar to what I had in mind.

I actually just invented it for this picture, cause I thought it was cool.
But I love it so much, I want lore for it! XD I think its a special weapon powered by the energy the person internally holds. Would Mario wield it, it would have a flame blade. But where is it from? An artefact, long forgotten within chambers filled with stolen gold and other treasures. It calls for powerful souls and can only be heard by such.
Just don't know yet if Lu finds it in the depth of Bowsers castle or somewhere else.^^
