you know that part in catfa……….why did bucky walk away backwards so he could keep his eyes on steve,,, and then as soon as steve replied he went back in for the hug????? there’s already a considerable stretch of space between them by then and bucky strides back to hug him like……..honey you Knew you were gonna hug him goodbye……like you Knew that…….so why were you walking away?? and he walks away watching steve the entire time so listen,,,,, all im saying is he wanted more Time, that’s all. he just wanted a few more seconds to look at steve, he wasn’t ready yet to let him out of his sight, not just yet, so he takes a few steps back, eyes still stuck to steve like a moth to flame, don’t do anything stupid until i get back, steve steve steve steve s t e v e stevie, stubbornly tries to memorize everything every hair on his head the jut of his chin his big dumb nose his kind burning eyes his angry beautiful mouth there’s nothing that could make him forget steve but he’s leaving and these few seconds is all he’s got and he’s terrified and he can’t he already misses him just looking at him, how can i? you’re taking all the stupid with you, you’re a punk (s t e v i e stevie steve steve steve i lov–), jerk. don’t win the war ‘til i get there. alright, steve.
