I dont have enough inspirations per character to fill out the meme so I'm doing this text style instead! My primary inspirations for this entire crew came from Genshin Impact, a sort of accidental challenge to take inspiration from my other fixation at the time for all the characters that'd go on my EU alt. Esyld's is Ningguang/Beidou I can't remember who I settled on having the stronger vibes in Esyld's design, but I know Ningguang was first, for her hidden in plain sight information-empire. Her love of money and her cunning. The refined "don't fuck with me" first impression. Although Esyld is far more genderfuckey and rough around the edges in design than Ningguang is.
Iniss' is Wriothesley for his visual design. They have a very similar look and style. Personality wise, I think Iniss still matches him but it's reserved for known people and close relationships, not strangers. They're very no-nonsense very focused. I've also taken Wriothesley's health trade abilities for Iniss, connecting it to a "can't die" thing they have, and chronic health problems. I'll elaborate sometime in an Iniss-specific post!
Arlais' is Arlecchino now. She's also VERY Mei Mei from JJK for her dedication to money and nothing else. Arlecchino for the visual design and general mannerisms and decorum. Arlais is a ranger whose pets are the uncared for street animals of lion's arch that passed away, now having a new second and better chance at "life" by Arlais' side. They're a lesbian with disdain for just about anyone and everyone except animals and those deemed, "worth my time."
Miyake Yuuji's is Kamisato Ayato for his personality, visuals, and demeanor. theyre almost the same guy. Yuuji is way more "Off-Putting Autistic" though. He's Kirari's sister, the one who got her adopted into his family too. Yuuji is the "documents" manager of their little syndicate. He causes trouble amongst the found family with Kirari.
Miyake KIrari's is Yae Miko and kitsune folklore it's self! Being a chaotic neutral mists demon herself, she hid as a shrine guardian in cantha for god knows how long before getting bored and hitching a ride to Lion's Arch for something new. She was acting very "strangely" and inhuman amongst the people, Yuuji met her and thought "Hey! She's a lot like me!" finding out she needed somewhere to stay, getting along so well, being a similar age* he asked his family to take her in. They reluctantly obliged, surprised to find that Kirari doesn't cause any trouble at all in the family's estate. They're just about the only ones she fully respects, she doesnt even disrepect Yuuji all that much despite being siblings. Her inspiration are Tricksters, Kitsune, and "Be Careful What You Wish For." Yae Miko is her inspiration for visual design mostly. Her abilities are similar though.
All of them share combat styles with their genshin counterparts/inspirations. Esyld is a Revenant who veers the farthest from Ningguang's combat style, with her being a catalyst type. Though as I type this maybe playing Ningguang in the future will change that ovo Iniss is literally Wrio they have the exact same close combat hand-to-hand style including the catalyst "imbued magic" from Genshin. Ingame Iniss is a thief, in lore i may allow them some cold death type magic in relation to that curse they have. Arlais is a ranger as previously stated but she absolutely fights like arlecchino and that sexy scythe. Yuuji is an elementalist he's 1-to-1 with Ayato Kirari is very hit-and-run mesmer she's a bit like Yae Miko but slightly to the left despite the similarities. rari is also not above going feral kitsune-demon-form mode. <3
