You can’t self refer to mr inglefield, I emailed the london transgender surgery and they said that you need a referral from a clinician in order to book a consultation. They also said that top surgery is usually around £6800

For the person asking if Lorrimer will refer to me inglefield, I’m about 90% sure you can self refer to him on the ltgs website so that might be worth checking out first

I feel like this isn’t possible but do you know if I could have a top surgery referral from dr Lorimer (through gendercare) to have surgery with dr inglefield? And if so how long is his waiting list? Thank you
This isn’t something that I’ve heard anyone doing before, but I see no reason why Dr Lorimer wouldn’t be able to write a letter recommending you for top surgery. It would be down to Mr Inglefield whether he would accept it, although it would be unusual for him not to.
It might be worth checking whether this is strictly necessary though. I believe that in the past they have been known to carry out their own evaluation rather than have a formal referral from someone else.

How much is top surgery with Mr inglefield? i know their website says it’s from £3000 to £9000 but that’s really broad, so i was hoping to get a more accurate figure so I know how much to save. thanks
There does seem to be quite a bit of variation with Mr Inglefield so it may be that you’d need to have a consultation and discuss it with him to get a definitive answer.
