I love reading interviews when Jakob gives them to English press because there’s less of the over saturation/preexisting knowledge. Explaining the treadmill in the dark thing makes it clear how fucking weird it is. We really just all accepted that this man does not turn the lights on if he’s on the treadmill and never asked is this a thing you should be doing?

Also the EM-1500m was a good job but mostly this telegraph interview is fucking weird. I know we all hate the telegraph; trying to find this in their print edition did remind me how much I hate the telegraph. But when was the last time he gave a BIG english interview?

Can any Brit explain why you use stone? It’s a bizarre weight measurement; like at least I know what a pound is. Why do you have secret extra not pounds? I think my bigger issue is just the imperial system of measurement is confusing and I don’t like it.

Also of course the Motorsports obsessive should use an F1 analogy.

Also rare that a British press seems to actually like a non-Brit, who’s been winning everything. Very cute to remind us that Elizabeth is the only reason he has ever been on time to anything in his (adult) life.
