I really should mention Enya when I talk about influences. She was one of the rare artists that we listened to who was more mainstream. My mom loved her and listening to her music in the old Toyota Pioneer mini-van was the soundtrack to many core memories. Thirty-nine cent twist cone, anyone?

If the mandrake is seduced by the physical integrity of its chosen person and by their choice of timing, it remains nonetheless imbued with a sacred substance that agitates it and whose contact is perilous.

If the creators of this choreographic charm are women, its effectiveness increases considerably.

Moreover, these 'enchantresses' are encouraged to give the mandrake the spectacle of their mutual caresses : "In Romania, young girls or women go in pairs at midnight, naked with their hair loose, embracing and kissing all the way to the mandrake. Once there, they lie down on top of each other…" (M. Eliade's quote)

I got bored and figured Id compile a list of influences throughout the years, and encourage others to share their own in which I didnt mention, for me to investigate further and them to look into any ive mentioned, in which they arent familiar with. I am always looking for new metaphysical or scientific perspectives and aesthetic inspiration.
