Moondragon in hospital, Gamora now with Thanos, and Adam fighting Maxam as Atlantis rises.
The fight is brutal. The resolution is genuinely clever. But there’s a bigger shock in the story. Something that conclusively ends the series.
It was a great series and I will miss reading it.

Superb.
Gamora leaves; Adam fights for his life.
The Gamora-Pip scenes are powerfully sad. She is devastated.
The big reveal of Maxam’s backstory makes perfect sense. It’s not a big surprise or anything, but it works.
Finally, the early effects of the ATLANTIS RISING event are being felt on the island. Cool!

Another brilliant issue.
"I'll save you the trouble, Adam. I quit!"
These characters are colourful and the stakes are always high--thanks to those gems they protect. It's been a wild ride. But with one member in hospital, things begin to unravel. And it escalates quickly. By the end of this issue, things are very different on the island.
