40-year-old oak in my backyard just spontaneously ripped vertically down the trunk and one half fell on my house π
Fortunately it was far away enough that the actual trunk didn't reach the house, and its fall was slowed when it took out most of the stems of our coppiced ash. But there is still a bunch of oak tree on the roof.
Fun fact for USAians, if you have Amazon Prime then you have a prescription discount card! I was gonna have to pay $90 every 3 months for my newest prescription if I used my insurance, but paying cash with the discount card, it was $35.

For probably three years now,I have been occasionally/mildly inspired to write more Good Omens fics, but all I have to show for it is a dozen+ false starts of maybe a couple hundred words each. Several are just a single line.
I am slightly more inspired since the finale, although that's no guarantee that every idea won't peter out on me again. But if I could manage to write something, what might be more interesting to see first? It'd be Soft and ace and have Fat Aziraphale (likely with Crowley POV so he can have sappy thoughts about how pretty his angel's specifically fat features are) regardless.

I don't think it's a spoiler at this point that there's some contention around the ending, but here is my official stance: I have my opinion about how satisfying it was, and everyone else also has their own opinions, and we're each correct, because we each get to decide what is satisfying to us. Something can be brilliant from a media analysis standpoint but still be disappointing as hell. Something can be a tottering pile of nonsense but still be a delight. The only real way to make yourself Completely In The Wrong here is to throw hate at other people for not agreeing with you.
