I think is the most important of all. What is life without it? What is love without it? Cold, normal, robotic. I adore every scar, every freckle, every stray piece of pink hair. I embrace every bit of art that adorns the body, and see it not as a regret but as an expression of individuality. Those who are normal say we are freaks, that what we are doing is not right. Well guess what? Who decided what was normal? This is my normal. You are the abnormality. Lets throw rocks at you, and put you down for expressing your utterly unimaginative ways. I will not put down your drab wardrobe and dull vocabulary if you will not put down mine. I will not tell you where you should travel, or what street you should walk down at 2:00 in the morning. I will not tell you what you should drive and what music you should blare out the sunroof. I will not tell you to have same race relationships. I cannot even tell you not to have same sex relationships without feeling a little guilty about humanity.  It’s a tricky topic. I know whats been said, and what I should believe, but it just seems so cruel to tell a person how they cant feel. But then again its like telling people they cant feel like murderers. Thank God we are actually allowed to do that though whew. I am a huge advocate in letting people chase their happiness as long as it doesn’t infringe on anyone elses rights. Don’t expect different treatment, don’t expect the rules to bend. Just be happy expressing who you are and the freedom that was fought for you to do it. I think that’s why I crave the city. Ive never been one to blend, but individuality is like starbucks; its on EVERY corner. One of my immense joys in life is being what people do not expect me to be. Its what I live for. In any relationship, I love to shock the masses. Whether its shaving my head, adorning my body with individuality I will take to my grave, or wearing heels that put my head in the clouds. Its become my thing; I used to be categorized as a plain jane. Literally. That was the worst thing I had ever heard said about me. If there was graffiti about me on the bathroom wall that sent me into a teenage midlife crisis, that would have been it. From then on, confidence sprouted from abnormality, and passion came from expressing exactly what I loved, even if it didn’t look like what everyone else loved. It’s the best feeling in the world.
