Ain’t no way.
I just saw people harassing someone for drawing boothill with brown skin.
Like the boothill that’s canonically indigenous.
He should be that colour.

Why It's Worth Trying Even If You're Skeptical
Skepticism is fair. I had plenty. But trying SweetDream costs you an evening and might surprise you the way it surprised me. Building a companion is fun, and the first real conversation does most of the convincing.
What flips skeptics is the quality. When the chat is natural, the photos are beautiful, and the voice sounds warm, the doubts quiet down. If you're on the fence about an AI girlfriend, sweetdream.ai is a low-risk way to find out for yourself.
The Great Bear - Canada
In this second book in the Narnia-inspired Indigenous middle-grade fantasy series, Eli and Morgan journey once more to Misewa, travelling back in time.
Back at home after their first adventure in the Barren Grounds, Eli and Morgan each struggle with personal issues: Eli is being bullied at school, and tries to hide it from Morgan, while Morgan has to make an important decision about her birth mother. They turn to the place where they know they can learn the most, and make the journey to Misewa to visit their animal friends. This time they travel back in time and meet a young fisher that might just be their lost friend. But they discover that the village is once again in peril, and they must dig deep within themselves to find the strength to protect their beloved friends. Can they carry this strength back home to face their own challenges?

I Won’t Feel This Way Forever - Canada
It’s the summer of 1989, and Mia is on her own—adjusting to life without her ex-best friend, Lara.
Summer vacation starts off well enough as Mia binges MTV and learns how to jar fish with her aunty and uncle. Then her grandma starts feeling unwell. At first, Mia isn’t too worried, but when a call comes in from the clinic to say her grandmother has to go to the hospital in Vancouver, everyone realizes this is serious.
Mia and her mom and aunties head to the city to be by her grandmother’s side. Mia mostly ping-pongs from the hospital to the motel, but she also gets to see some of the city and eat (too much) takeout. She even joins a basketball camp at the Friendship Centre, where she meets a teen coach who inspires her to get back into the game she loves and delve deeper into what it means to be Indigenous. As time passes, Mia’s grandmother's health doesn’t improve, and she has to face the fact that her beloved grandma might not get better.
Charlotte's New Moccasins - Canada
Charlotte has outgrown her moccasins! Still, there's nothing a trip to Grandma's can't fix in this heartwarming intergenerational story.
A sweet, celebratory picture book about family and culture by two debut Métis creators centered around Indigenous peoples' tradition of making moccasins, perfect for 3-7-year-olds.
Noite branca - Brazil
A supernatural threat threatens to take the lives of the villagers of Papa-Capim. And the young indigenous man has not only the difficult task of stopping it, but also of convincing the shaman that he was chosen for this.
The title translates as "White Night".
Can someone give me tips for writing indigenous characters?
I’m currently working on my first serious book and one of my main characters is indigenous. Specifically Cree from the Wetaskiwin area, if that is of any help. Really just trying to stay away from anything harmful. Please help a girl out!
