8.5.22 Indian Rocks Beach
Disney sure takes a lot out of you! We were exhausted. All but John slept in until 10:00. Obviously we had a late start today, so to the beach it is! We decided to check out the Gulf side of Florida and it didn't disappoint.
The water was so calm, the kids swam, played, and searched for seashells. The weather was hot, a perfect day. So, as a parent, you may think, "How ideal!" I sure did, until the car ride home.
The GPS said it was an hour and 50 minutes. Well, it was MUCH more than that due to traffic. And, I can tell you that it felt MUCH longer because of some atrocious behavior in the car by some boys ages 9 and 10. Let's just say getting home didn't happen soon enough.
That's ok, I will still call the day a WIN because of the awesome beach!
