A weird thing about living in Baltimore is that I can't watch the show without noticing all the little discrepancies. Like Hannibal's house cannot possibly exist in the location NBC says it exists (the only gotic style house next to a cathedral and a skycraper is owned by MICA and the skyscraper is ugly as fuck), and the drive from Wolftrap to Baltimore or Quantico is waay long (longer than the magic of TV makes it out to be).

i live in philly but i've been around baltimore and DC a lil bit and i always laugh because commutes don't exist in the hannibal universe
at dashcon hannibal-sam and i were laughing about futamono because the most unrealistic thing about hannibal putting that dead guy in a tree in an empty parking lot is him finding an empty parking lot between DC and NYC.

Are you really questioning the "science" in a science fiction movie?? It's Prometheus, a prequel to Alien. I don't think any of the science is supposed to make any sense. Most people only watch Alien for Ripley tbh.

Ripley is the coolest but I actually watched because of the aliens and stuff. I'm a fan. And yeah I saw that the chosen actress resembled Ripley in looks a few times... but other than that and the good actors with bad roles... this thing was terrible.
Long ago science fiction actually had things to do with science. Most of the best science fiction books were written by scientists!
It wasn't bullshit.
The scene I questioned was so far from today's quality fiction, it was as if it had been written in a book in the 70-80's.
I know science fiction exists no more it's all just fiction opera without the science but...argh. This was so BAD! LOL
