Why is it that whenever there's a fight between the personifications of good and evil, that the end goal is always to seal away the darkness to restore balance?
That isn't balance, the side of light is clearly and blatantly misguided to their own justifications as much as the side of dark. True balance would be to seal or destroy both entities, or to have them fight for eternity.
Instead, darkness is sealed away without the chance to fight fairly, while the personification of light either relinquishes their duty to the hero, becomes one with the hero, wanders the planes of existence, or turns into something else.
Idk man, but that just sounds like bs to me.
