Blog time, I guess?
I just need to vent out frustration in a safe space-
The guy I was seeing before I started dating my girlfriend wanted to be my primary, and I said yes because I'm so new to polyam and I kinda just trust whatever he says.
Him and I aren't dating- he's my dom, and I'm just his sub. We have a rocky relationship anyway, but we've gotten better at communicating our problems and all that jazz.
I'm dating one of my very best friends now, who has always been there for me. Her and I have talked about dating before but never really had the chance- we do now, and we decided it was time. We're pretty happy, like, incredibly so. She has a husband, who's super supportive, and him and I get along really well.
ANYWAY~~~
I was reading online about hierarchical polyam and non-hierarchical polyam relationships, and non hierarchical sounds much more like my jam than the other.
Now I just have to talk to Dom, but I'll know he'll just get mad and say I'm changing my mind, when in fact, I've just been able to actually educate myself a little on the topic. I'd rather both my partners have a say in everything, instead of just him having all the say.
