So a couple of our lovely Suffolk ewes were sheared yesterday as they desperately needed it. It’s been a bit of a whirlwind the last month but my current placement in a hospice & coming to the end of my course has really made me reflect on why I wanted to become a nurse, and the steps I want to take to make my life as enjoyable and exciting as possible. Meeting the professor tomorrow and as usual, the lazy git that I am, haven't done all that I promised. So on the way home at 10pm, sitting in the tube, with a printout of a scanned PDF of a 15 century recipe book written in Middle English with gothic font. Scanning for spices and herbs used in various recipes and constantly getting distracted by imagining each recipe as to how it would feel like cooking and tasting.
