Sooo... last Sunday I won silver in PSO Nationals Exotic L4. I still don’t know what to think about it...I literally cannot wrap my mind around it and I’m confused. I don’t know what I feel, I will let you know when I find out... I think I wasn’t ready for that. Most of all I’m super proud of my amazing training buddies and Inspiration Studios crew, you all did so well and I admire you with all my heart. Your support, hard work, great ideas and attitude are my biggest inspiration! Thank you PSO for another fun and well organized event. Thank you @reneefuzz @santa_sangre and all inspo instructors for helping me not embarrass myself on stage. Thank you @kaystarrpoles for doing my hair, thank you @bullsik for checking on me and encouraging me from far away. Thank you @mrsleep3 for being strong when I was weak and for reminding me that I can do it! Thank you for letting me cry in your beautiful shoulder and for believing in me always. Now I think I’m done with competitions for a while. I’m tired and all I want is to simply enjoy dancing, explore new movement, listen to my body, build strength and fluidity, recover from all the injuries. I still want to perform, because stage is life, but competitions? I don’t want to do it for now. 10 days left to the competition. I’m still not in my best physical form and at this point I’m only thinking about putting together a good performance. Anything goes guys... And here’s #TBT to two years ago when I won my first gold medal for my first ever exotic performance at GGPC. I remember when after one of our privates @reneefuzz wrote me “you are made for exotic” and I took her words very seriously, even though I thought it’s strange, because tbh I’d never think about myself that way. I’m very dedicated, stubborn and hard working and if you know me, you know that. But Exotic? Sexy goddess? Naaah, I’m a dork, I’m kinda funny, I’m not flawless and incredibly beautiful, I’m not full of grace I’m not a “real” dancer...And yet, when I put on those 8 inch heels(or 10inch, depends on a day 😉) and got the stage lights up my face I’m becoming super Kasia and I love myself more than ever. So yeah, this is why I love to perform so much, because those are the moments when I allow myself to fully love who I am.
