        jeff stops abruptly at the sight of sam, and he blinks once as he lets the sight of him sink in. he remembers him--- how could he not?--- from the new directions, remembers seeing him perform during competitions. he wants to lead with that and then move into the compliment, but like any normal teenage boy, his brain short circuits at the very last moment and he says, “you’re pretty much the most attractive guy i’ve ever seen,” when he approaches sam. 

“Look, “ he started, “The only reason I’m here, and asking this is because Dalton hasn’t really done anything about Hunter yet, despite finding out about the drugs. I need help getting him expelled.” He was looking to the good of the warblers, and honestly he was being a little selfish. But so far no one knew of the blackmail.

“I’d do it myself, but I need my name not attached,” he started, and before the thought even crossed his mind to tell the truth, he told a little white lie. “I’m still in hot water for last year, and I don’t want Hunter taking me down with him.”

He looked at Sam expectantly, “So will you help us, you can even dawn that super hero outfit, I certainly wouldn’t mind.”

Sebastian was meeting Blaine for coffee, he was early mainly because he didn’t have anything til much later in the day, and had a free period for the last part of the school day. He decided to kill time and do homework. He only killed time. His mother thought it would be a lovely time to call him. It started civil, and in his car, by the time he actually got inside the coffee shop he was about two steps away from shouting. He was in public so he didn’t, he was also grateful that the greater portion of the state could not understand a word he was saying otherwise they’d be appalled at what was coming out of Sebastian’s mouth. Instead they just heard French and were slightly impressed.

He also ordered Blaine’s drink, hoping it would be just cool enough to drink by the time the other got there. Sebastian was getting more angry by the minute, his shoulders were tense, and honestly if he were in his dorm he’d probably end up crying, but that wasn’t a possibility at the moment. Then he noticed Blaine was actually in front of him, and he prayed that Blaine first, didn’t understand French, but more importantly did not see Sebastian utterly loosing his cool towards his mother. Sebastian quickly told his mother he had to go and said good bye to her before looking at Blaine firmly putting his phone in his pocket, ready to ignore any message he got.

His mask was one, anyone who looked at him would not know he just cut off an argument with his own mother. He gave Blaine a smirk ( that was really just a small and soft smile ), fully intending on ignoring what was going on his life in favor of the man before him, “You’re coffee good?” he asked first, then went on, “You good?”

“ i just — wanna play football again , y’know ? “ he murmured, as he stared down at his feet. being kicked off the team really hurt him, when all he was really trying to do was help artie out. now he felt like he was back to being .. small. like he was nothing. not to mention karofsky and azimio had tore his letterman in half , leaving him to have his mom see if she can get it re-sewn or sew it herself.
