Late one night after a hectic day of classes, two students lay awake afraid of what sleep might bring within Heartslabyul dorm.

With Deuce who always see Cater’s clone dying in his arms unable to stop it….. his nightmares twisted the event where his ignorance got the real Cater killed protecting him. And Ace the boy who started it all wondering what would happen if Trey was a second too late….. if he had been beheaded what would’ve happened….. he froze up he couldn’t even defend himself. waking up gasping multiple nights grabbing at his throat, making sure his head is still attached because he came so close to losing it….
Both silently wishing the nights were easier one goes to the other it’s a silent ritual they’ve gotten used to. Tonight Deuce crawls into Ace’s bed simply so they can reassure the other they are still alive they know the other is safe….. neither of them say anything. They started this ritual to make sure the other was ok after frequent nightmares and panic attacks. Both have agreed to keep this a secret from even Yuu and Grim. This is their coping mechanism after all.
