Marian Koshland
Marian Koshland was born in 1921 in New Haven, Connecticut. Koshland was an immunologist who worked on the development of the cholera vaccine, and conducted pioneering research on antibodies. Her work was highly influential in theories of the formation of antibodies and on the origins of antibody specificity. Koshland published approximately 200 scientific articles, and served as president of the American Association of Immunologists.
Marian Koshland died in 1997 at the age of 76.
