Your hands are killing you. You sigh as you watch the sun set. The Stone Age is quite exhausting except that one little crazy head is worse: Senku. Helping him to regain the technology or development of the old world, is taking all your energy. First, you helped knitting by Yuzuriha. Then, you helped the boys with the grains. France needed you for some cooking and Senku asked you to hold some of his pistons while doing some experiments. You almost dropped one of your tiredness. In the end, you rest by sitting alone in the field and watching the stars above your head. Without any light source, you can see billions little stars and it looked mesmerizing. "What kind of constellation is that....?" you mumbled to yourself. "Is that Sirius?"

"Nope! The one you mentioned is just Jupiter." The all so known voice of Senku. He came from behind and sat slowly behind you while he never left his gaze from the sky.

"Should you not rest? All day doing some science. My head would explode." You didn't mean it as an insult. He scoffed. "When you love what you are doing, you don't need much rest." "You are amazing, Senku." It was a simple sentence yet the words stopped the mans staring from the constellation to you. He blinked. Already in school, you were different. The first day you met, he was rambling about some chemistry what nobody understand and some classmates seemed annoyed while you just said. "You are cool!"

You let your gaze down and watch over your shoulders softly towards Senku. A pretty and tired smile is on your lips when you asked him. "Would you tell me more about astronomy?" You hugged your knee and waited for his answers. Senku had his lips a bit apart and was in awe of your cute side profile. With that smile he is willing to do anything and then talking about science ? Any time.

He chuckled. "Are you really asking me this? I can talk about astronomy all night and day." You eyes lighten up and he starts to explain all signs of the zodiac. You listen carefully until your eyelids drop. You couldn't control your body so slowly your head lands into Senkus lap. He stops his podcast about stars and watches your sleeping form. His lips forms a smile as he admires you. He leads a single strain of hair with his finger behind your ear.

He can explain any phenomena through science. Any odd events can always be solved yet every time he is near you, he can not detect what is wrong with him. Is something wrong with him? He sighs. Back in school era, he tried to avoid you at any cost as soon as he found out that he feels weird around you. He just detests the idea of having no clue what your presence is doing to him. Again, his fingers are dangerous close to your lips while he can not take off his eyes on these. That longing.... Could it be love? That would be the only explainable thing. Even though, love can not be clarified entirely. But if it's true that sucks. If that is the thing he is feeling so weird any time you close he can only sigh defeated. Love? Really? Him? As a scientist ....? Damn, that is so uncool....

Kurama: "Well, I think we have everybody under before we start tomorrow the mission? We should rest well."

Yusuke: "Then, we meet here at 7 am, guys." Kurama: "Oh, wait! Hiei! Are you staying outside? It should pour down again. Do you know where you can stay under?" Hier sighs annoyed and shrugs his shoulders to reply cooly. "I don't care... As if rain disturbs me..."

You: "Oh, He can stay in my room..." You voice cheerful and innocent. The group eyes grew big and watch you disbelief. Your own brother just had to gulp down and let out a muffled. "Wha-??" You: "...like last night, right?" You smile to Hiei who just flinches at your directed words towards him. His pupils became small and his eyes are risen to turn his head slowly to you. He was quite shocked how you dressed this calmly and out of nowhere. The silence of the group signalized the calm before the storm as they just watch you and Hiei.

Kurama: "Oh? I am soory I was worried for nothing, Hiei..." He chuckles as Hiei gets quite pissed at his tone in his voice.

You: "Is there anything wrong?" Yusuke: "Anything wrong ?!" He screeches as he throws his hands into the air. "You just took a random guy into your room at night? Didn't we discussed something like this years ago? Do you wanna die?"

You: " Hey, you take this the wrong way and I know Hiei from your stories and he isn't a stranger. I just felt pity as it bucketing down and asked him to come in before he catches a cold!"

Yusuke: "Oh, a demon can catch a cold that easily! You heard him rain doesn't infect him! Think before you do something!" You: "Ohhh, you are the one to talk!" Few begin to laugh at your talking back as Yusuke and you yell at each other.

Yusuke: "No more taking strangers as refugees in your room!"

You: "As if! What is only if I forget to close the window at night?" Yusuke "Don't you dare! And Hiei! Hands off my sister, what are you thinking?"

Hiei: "Haaa?! Quit it, Punk. I do what I want."

You: " Stop making a fuss, brother!"

Yusuke: "No, I am not allowing you two together!"

You: " HE JUST SLEPT AT THE WINDOW BENCH, IDIOT! There was nothing you should worry about!"

Yusuke: "The window bench is next to you bed! You basically slept together!" You: "There is two meters Space between the window and the bed!"

Yusuke. "Too close for my comfort!"

Kurama clapped his hands together: " Come on guys, that is enough ! I think it is not bad when Hiei stayed overnight by your sisters room. the attacking demons are ruthless and he can watch her over night. Moreover, he seems not quite the guy to act inappropriate..."

Yusuke: " Not you too! I am just ..."

You: "Hah! You see!"

Hiei: "......"

You: „Did I pressure you for staying here?“

Hiei: „Nobody, can pressure me. I am where I want to be.“

You: „So you want to be here in my room?“

Hiei: „…. don’t take my words wrongly. I believe I just enjoy annoying Yusuke for staying here.“

You laugh: „I am sorry but yeah he is quite disturbed by this…. You know… I … I appreciate you staying over night…“

Hiei: „……..“

You: „… because it is like Kurama mentioned: i feel safer when you sit there. Even if you are not intend to do that I just want to thank you for helping me to sleep better.“

Hiei:“…..Hm…“ He kept his gaze looking outside while the rain falls down. You notice a small blush in his cheeks in the reflection of the window. You know that he is nicer than he shows.

You: „Well, good night, Hiei!“

The beginning - Part two

Part 1

During the War, you had rarely contact to your step father. Once, you entered the church of Fuyuki to meet a friend of Tokiomi: Kirei Kotomine. Rin disliked him from beginning because he was emotionless and she can not trust this man. You somehow found him entertaining to tease. So you sneak towards his favorite room in the church to the wine cellar. Unfortunately,  you would not find him there. As you peek through the door slit, you saw blond hair lying on the couch while he spun a wine glass in his fingers. He hummed entertained when you noticed golden accessories on him. ‚Woah‘ You thought.’ He must be rich.’

„Did you enough googling or did you forgot your manners?“ His voice hollered through the room as you jumped and fell to your knees. He raises from the couch to look at you on the floor. 

„A brat? What do you want , child?“ You somehow found him memorizing. He is definitly not from Japan. The blonde hair were natural not dyed and hanged loosely around his face. But more captivating were his eyes. Red orbs like blood or ruby bored into your C/E.  His pupil resemblds a crescent.

„Woah, You are pretty.“ 

He blinked as he started to laugh with arrogance.

„ I know, child. That’s the reason why you just could not look away?!“

„No, I thought I meet Kirei…“ And wondered who you may be…“  You looked around in the room.

„You can call me Archer for now…“ You shrieked as you heard this. 

„Archer?! Like from the Holy Grail War?!“ You stepped closer to him. „You must be a servant and a hero from ancient times. Wow! Tell me about you.“ In an instand, you beamed thousand questions at him and sat like nothing is unusual next to him on the couch.

„Who allowed you little rat to sit next to myself?“

You blinked and jumped down the couch as you ask. 

„ Am I allowed to sit next to you and listen to your glorious stories…“ He raised an eyebrow. 

„Do you think be-„

„…Beautiful man!“

„Well, sat down…“ You did as he said and smiled at him. 

„A long time ago, I ruled…“ You interrupted him instantly. „Don’t tell me …. Don’t tell me! I wanna guess what kind of hero you are…. Just say what you did without hinting away who you are!“ 

His eyebrows twitched in annoyance as you screamed at him. A normal mongrel would be stabbed already to interrupt the King of Heroes from speaking. 

He coughed and looked at you sternly while you feel his strong gaze on you. 

You shift in you seats as you put your hands on you knee when you apologize. 

„Sorry… I didn’t mean to interrupt your speaking…“

I forgive you because you so eager to listen  to my story from ancient times.“ He started to explain how the city looked like, he ruled and that a river was close by. You nodded to any information you could gather to find out who he could be. It was already a wonderful experience so sit with a hero and held a conversation with. He continued how he met someone equal his strength when you begin to giggle.

„… we fought three days… uh? What is so funny.“

„Hehe, no just…. Hehe I just like your story, Mister.“

His eyes blinked a few times and noticed how much fun you have. He smiles to himself. 

„You are an interesting human child!“ Suddenly, he opened a gold portal and a glass within a purple liquid falls to his palm. „Before, I continue any listener shouldn’t stay without a delightful drink!“ You blinked several times with a slight open mouth. The magic was so pretty and interesting. Then, you eyes wandered to his wine glass. „Archer, I think I am not allowed to drink alcohol…“ He chuckles.

„That is not wine… Back then, we were not so strict about the alcohol consume yet I know that a child like you shouldn’t drink it. It is a special juice from the past.“ You hands reached towards the glass while you stretched your body towards him. He held it a bit higher with squinted eyes.

„Can I have the special, pleaase?!“  You sent him you biggest and cutest eyes while he sighed. „I definitely need you to teach more manners but alright.“ 

„I thought you give it to me nonetheless.“

„And? You still can be more respectful and ask for it.“ His hands lowered to give the drink in your hands. You hold it carefully while saying loudly.

„Thank you very much, Archer!“

That is better!“ You take a sip while the sweet liquid makes contact with your tongue. You eyes shine while you wanted to tell him how delicious his drink is. You meet his gaze while he smirked knowingly. 

„I know, child. I loved it as a kid also.“

„Archer, did you meet a special woman?“ He laughed loudly as he told you, he met many women in his life. You snorted. „No, I mean the one?“ He just shrugged. „The one?“ You sighed annoyed which he rises one of his eyebrows.

„The one who sweeps you off your feet? The enchanting one? The one who let your  heart beat uncontrollable fast?“ Okay, the first two phrases came from a Taylor Swift Song. It was a special phase.

„You mean a witch? Nah, more like this one goddess can be called like one…“ Gilgamesh seemed not to get what you mean while you start to groan. „Nooo….“ Suddenly, the door opened and revealed Kotomine Kirei. „You… and you! Tokomi is already searching for you! Stay here, I call him!“ „Aww…!“ You hopped from the couch while resting the glass, he gave you, on the table with you head hang low. You pursed your lips because you know you had to leave the place immediately. Gilgamesh chuckled as he saw your triste facade. „How wholesome you liked my company.“

You nodded. „Yeah, the most other people are boring.“ „Tell me ,child….“ You watched him curiously. „What is your name.“ You excitedly told him your name.

„F/N. Tokiomi F/N:“ You caught him off guard as his piercing eyes checked you from head to toe. „You are not resemble him much, huh?“

„No… He adopted me…“ „So…“ He tried to change the topic. „Do you have a hint who I am?“  You giggled as he raised his eyebrows.

„Of, course!“ Surprised and excited he slams his palm on the table. „How enjoyable, Spill it.“

You put your pointing finger to your lips. „No, you know it is better to stay with you undercover name in this war!“ „Do you think it would make a difference?“

„No.“ You say again. He laughs. „F/N!!“ You mother calls out loudly above the cellar. „Yeaaah, comin’!“  Before you run off you turn around. „It was fun with you archer! Thank you for telling me the stories and the drink! ….“ He rose his wine glass with closed eyes and took a sip before you continue…

„… And also: I really think so too that goddess Ishtar in your epic was a ruthless witch!“ He almost spitted his wine out as you dusted off. He smirked evilly. „What a shame I haven’t been summoned ten years later….“

You still remembered when Tokiomi taught you the last time the magic spell of his family and you had problems controlling it. Yet, little Rin was above your level. Your frustration and the building up tears in your eyes didn’t help you to concentrate on the magic spell. The crystal broke and Tokiomi sighs loudly. „We better take a break here…“ Disappointed, he watched his true daughter Rin mastering the spell with ease. Of course, she was getting rain of compliments. You sighed to yourself as you stepped outside without their noticing. In the floor, you couldn’t contain the tears anymore. They run down your cheeks as you breathed harshly through your mouth. No matter how hard you learned or tried, you could not grasp the magic range like Rin has. Your shoulders shook as you wandered down to your room. Once, you halt and lay your forehead on the cold wall. You punched the hard wall ‚cause of your frustration and cried harder than before. 

„I wonder…. What had made you so upset.“ A familiar confident voice spoke to you calmly. You turned your head to the right as you saw a person leaning against the wall which you weeped. He was wearing a gigantic golden armor and his blonde hair stood to the air different like last time hanging around his face. 

„…Gil-…“ You stopped that his true name shouldn’t left your lips. „Archer…?“  His head turned towards you with an annoyed expression, his eyes squinted as if you are joking and his golden earrings jingled by his movements.

„Are you literally questioning my presence? I thought better of you! A slight change shouldn’t confuse you.“

His words hurt you more and much more tears falling down your cheeks. The blonde hero rolled his eyes. You started to hiccup as his patience is getting lower until he raised his voice. „Stop this wailing, immediately !“ Your lips are pressed together while you you hold your tears and hiccups back. Wet eyes and red cheeks were a funny sight as  the man in front of you watched you sternly. „Great and before you die because you don’t breathe, tell me why you cry like a siren.“ 

You fingers grasped your clothing tightly as you watched the ground fiercely but talked in a whisper.

„Louder!“

„Yes! I - I fail to use magic of Tohsaka or should be already advanced but the younger daughter, my sister is already better than me. I - I try and try but my father is already disappointed of my failure. I feel unable to fulfill his standards. I am just bad and stupid….“ You just spilled anything what was bubbling inside you. You thought, he laughs or is getting more annoyed about your complains as he listened cautiously. His eyes bored into your head as he stood in silence and waited for more to come. 

„Is that all?“ You nodded. „Are you just giving up because you tried a few times and failed? You never can be skillful in something when you just surrender that easily. If all humans act like this, this world has become a rotten place….“ He sighs loudly as you felt more worse than before. „So am I a rotten child?“ He blinked as his mouth corners twitch upwards. „Depends on what you do now?“ You just couldn’t take our eyes of him as he started to smirk while he had an idea. Normally, he would not waste his time with a tiny tot yet he is bored massively with his boring master so he can play a little, right?

_________________________________ Part 1: How you met him…  __________________________________

How you met his father, the king…..

Let’s say, you still felt uncomfortable around Noctis. No matter how you met him, you stuck between casual calling him and in a bow. That makes him so embarrassed too. But it is hard-core to hear or see him in the  Radio or TV and then act as he would be just an ordinary guy. Even your own parents couldn't believe you and say ‚Yeah that is your wish, right?‘.  However, at lunch time, he is always with you and Prompto. He takes a nap or eats something. At these times, you got used to him and even made some jokes around him. Always a little shy but he noticed your wicked smile while you looked away from him. Prompto is usually on your side to prank the royal friend of yours. He just smirked like you as he countered back.

„Guys , don't forget who will be king someday…“ He would threat. And you dared to say:

„ Yeah, the king of naps.“ Prompto just falls off from his chair due all his laughter. Slowly, you warmed up to the prince who is definitely happy about it. You can feel that he is not different at all. But this feeling crumbled every time, he invites you to his royal home. The feeling that you were million miles different and far away from this boy. The first time, you walked in like a lost puppy. And as you more got into the building, it seems bigger and bigger . You followed Noctis with a free caring Prompto. After a while you entered a fancy room with a large table. The dishes on the nice decorated table were already set.

“Noct?“ you heared a fine British accent.

„Here.“ The prince called out. A slender man with light brown hair which were all drawn back and glasses came from another room in as he bowed.

„Welcome home , your highness.“ Well there it goes.

„Hi Iggy!“ Prompto waved to him. From formal to casual. Then, his eyes met you as he closed the distance between your figures. His hand reaches out to you to shake as you directly accepted it.

„ You must be Lady L/N. Gracious to make your company. You can call me Ignis “ You nod with a light smile and nervous for being called 'Lady'? „And I need to say thank you for taking care of the prince.“ Now, you were more puzzled.

„Huh?“  Even Noctis breathed out.

„I heard you took care of him as he had a bleeding nose.“ His eyes shifted to Noctis as he uncomfortable moved to stand on the other leg.

„Where do you know?“ The prince questioned.

„ A shocked nurse came to the king and informed him about it.“ You glanced to Noctis as he rolled his eyes.

„ Come on, I told her, she shouldn’t annoy my father.“   Prompto giggled behind him.

„ I am sorry but that he got hurt was because of me…“ Ignis smiled a bit .

„ I bet his clumsiness was at fault.“ A Noctis wanted to protest but he continues „ Anyway how was the bento I made? Did you taste that I used the flavour from ....*X*, *Y*"  In the end, you understand just nothing and made him clear that you enjoyed it. In an instant, he vanished to prepare your evening meal.

„He is nice…. „ You mumbled. Noctis sighed

„ Nice like a ragging mother….“ Prompto chuckled.

„ Yeah, but he has it hard with you.“ Then Noctis wanted to hit him on his head as the blonde ducked. „HA !“ He yelled and suddenly Noctis hit him on his stomach. „ Ugh! Not fair!“ The prince smirked only. Then, his eyes wandered to you. You were staring at the fancy decoration with a mouth agape. He was a little afraid that you were too ‚impressed' and will maybe avoid him in the future. Many others did so. He coughed to get your attention. Your eyes reached his as he stuttered

„ A-Are" Really now? „ Are you alright?.“ With wide eyes you nod.

„ I think so….. „ You muttered. Prompto just mentions

„ You haven't seen anything. Wait up when you see-„ Noctis stopped him by giving him a death glare.

„ I am okay. I just go for little girls.“ Embarrassed, they noticed your impressed staring, you left the room quickly to search the toilet. Well, while stamping away, you recognized that you have no idea were the toilet is. „ Just great , Y/N.“ You mumbled to yourself. So you opened every door and peeked inside secretly. Of course, only when nobody was around. Somebody noticed you as you opened the door. You pretended that you need to go in there as you entered a room which you just stared in disbelief. The roof was unbelievable high and the gold and silver decorated the whole room. Your head brought up as you walked backwards. „Wow.“  Then you recognize this room as you contained more details. This is…. The throne room. ‚Holy shit‘ you mind screamed. This was what you had seen on pictures and TV but in reality, it was more majestic. A voice brought you to shriek and turned around abruptly .

„Miss how can I help you?“ His deep voice hollered through the room as you eyes pooped out like pizzas. Few second were needed as you bowed directly and showed your respect .

„ My majesty . I apologize.“ Nothing more could pass your dry throat. He chuckled as he stand up.

„ It seems I startled you. These clothing….. You are in the same school like my son.“ Slowly, he stepped down the stairs. As he climped down seemingly hurt, you just couldn't stand there and rushed to him for help. He smiled at it kindly. Was it okay for you to touch him? Then, he stopped and turned to you.

„ Thank you for your help. But can you tell me your name?“  Again you bowed as you answered him „ Y/N L/N, my majesty!“  His eyebrows knitted as he spoke up.

„ L/N ? Oh, your parents are excellent baker. This Choco chili cake is truly magnificent.“  Oh, when you parents would hear this.

„ Thank you very much, your Excellency.“ There he waved his hands in front of him.

„Stop this formal talk. My duty for this day is done. Just Regis.“ You looked surprised at him as your lips left .

„ Like your son.“ Curiously, he watched you.

„You know my son Noctis personally?“ You nodded.

„ He invited me here for a feast.“ You slowly told him. He started to laugh.

„How bold has this boy become , not tell his father about a female guest for himself.“ After helping him the whole stairs down, the king started with you a light conversation and wanted to know how you met his son. Shyly, you told him that you hit him with the door. You thought, he would be angry instead he snickered about it. „No wonder he would hide it. He got a pretty girl taking care of him.“ You blushed as he smiled at your reaction.

„ I don't think-" Suddenly, the door snapped open to reveal the prince.

„Y/N?“ he asked and then after a shock, realizing his father. „ Father…..“ He gulped. Hell, he didn't told him about her. The king sighed.

„Son.“ He smiled cheekily at his own blood. Noctis avoided his smirk in silence. Just awkward… Then, you said to lighten up the situation.

„So I believe…. This isn’t the bathroom?“ A chuckled is heard from the corner in this room. There stood a knightglaive slightly shaking his shoulders because of your words. Was he the whole time here? Regis spoke up to his son.

„Show your female guest, Y/N, the way to the bathroom,  my son. And behave well around her.“ Noctis breathed out and gestured to come over. You turn and before you could bow, he reached a hand to you . „ I shall take my leave now. I hope, you have wonderful evening here, Miss Y/N L/N. May we blessed meeting again.“ You nodded and accepted his handshake. With a beating heart, you sloppily dragged behind Noctis.

„Wow. I like your father.“You simply stated.

“Huh?!“ He stopped and looked at you. „How long have you been with him?“ you shrugged

„ Quite a while…..“ ‚Oh great!‘ He thought. This meant, tonight is going to held an interrogation by his father. Then, you hold your cheeks.

„He called me pretty.“  ‚Wha-! What did you just talk with him?!' Noctis watched you in disbelief.

You: „So you drive to Altissia and come back as a married man? I can’t believe this.“

Noctis: „Hm.. well, I can’t believe this either.“

You: „Marrying Lady Lunafreya… You are so lucky.“

Noctis: „I wouldn’t call myself this…“

You: „Why? Luna is pretty, sympathetic, charismatic and much more… You know her even. Could be worse. Half of the guys from the world are jealous of you. Haaa… Oh! Or do you prefer the other side? I knew it! You want to marry Prompto.

Noctis scoffs and smiles while looking to Prompto:

„Sure, I am all in for that Chocobohead…“ he jokes and continues more serious,

“ You know…“ he looks first away and than at you.

„I prefer to choose…“

You sigh: „ I am sorry to hear that. The crown is a burden especially at political arrangements…

Noctis: „Don’t be… worry more to find a righteous man for yourself!“

You: „Pah! Don’t worry, I got plenty!“

Noctis: „Not before I give my blessings!“

You: „Hey, that is still my choice!“

Noctis: „While I am the prince or soon king, I decide if he is worthy or not!“

You: „Seriously, Noct?“

Noctis: „I am joking but don’t take an asshole as your partner, ok? They should treat you right. Promise me this…“

You: „You way to serious now… but I promise you. Then,… have a nice trip and treat Lunafreya right…“

Noctis: „Why would you..?“

You: „Don’t mop around. Don’t fall asleep everywhere and eat your vegetables.“

Noctis: „Yes, mom…. So I need to go now if I don’t want to be late. Wouldn’t make a good impression.“

You : „Right! That is the spirit!“ You look at him with somewhat a heavy heart. Noctis turns to you with the same look.

Noctis: „Well then,…“ before he can leave you on the stairs from his home in Insomnia, you give him an bone breaking hug.

Noctis: „Woah! Easy or I can not attend my- Y/N…“

His heart falls. He feels your tears rolling on his neck. He wants to see your face but you still hold him.

You: „ j-Just a moment.“ Your voice trembles as you speak and hold on all your tears.

Noctis: „Hey, it is alright if you cry.“ He jumps over his word so that he is not the one weeping. You soften your grip so he takes a look into your teary eyes.

Ignis: „Noct?!“

Noctis: „Coming!… Y/N, I…“

You: „No, I am alright, Noct! I just sad I can be there…“ the last part is hard to speak because it is a lie…

You would be devastated to watch him marry another woman.

„You need to go. Lunafreya is waiting…“ You send him a smile while he walks down the stairs.

„Be Safe!“ You call out as he climbs into the car.

„You too!“

„I am safe here in Insomnia!“

„I know!“ Little does he know what would happen the upcoming night.

He sees you the last time through the car window waving good bye. Ignis, Prompto and Gladio sit in silence knowing their feeling for each other. He sighs as he hung his head down and touches the fore seat. The world can be cruel …

Just wanted to write that … I rewatched the Original Naruto and became addicted again. Why Sasuke ? No idea… I just became creative with his character…

He cheers you up and I hope you like it…

The crickets are noisy as they chirp in the summer night. You are sitting close to the lake, your arms crossed and your head down in your knees. You want to shut up your surroundings. Tears are flooding down your cheeks like a waterfall and won’t stop. The images of your teammates as they got killed, are playing in a loop. I doesn’t matter if your eyes are closed or open. In the end, how you hold your friends head in your own hands was humiliating and daunting. A never-ending Nightmare. Your fingertips are clenching together as the fabric of your clothing knitters together. 

You passed the Chunin Examen Test of the second part yet you feel that you lost everything. This Orochimaru just killed you closest friends and now you are the only survivor of this team. Actually, you shouldn’t pass the second part of the Chunin Examen. Then, the Hokage let you still pass because you already had the scrolls, make it to the tower and helped other teams getting beaten up by a team from Otogakure. However, it doesn’t feel like you won. You don’t even know if you should continue…

Suddenly, you hear steps on the wooden ground of this dock. You grit your teeth. The steps stops directly behind you.

„Seriously, Naruto! I already told you to let me be. I just need to be alone. Don’t take it personally.“

Naruto felt with you. He wanted to cheer you up but right now, he just worsen your emotions. Somehow, his constant worrying got on your nerves. You don’t hear him leave.

„None taken…“ You shoulders clench together. That isn’t Narutos voice. Too arrogant and deep. „I am not Naruto.“ He continues. After his second phrase, you recognize this voice after he mouthed Naruto. Sasuke Uchiha. „Moreover, I am sitting always here…“ You sigh loud. He is not lying, you saw him often here. He walks beside you as he sits down. 

„What do you want, Sasuke?“ You growl more than you wanted when he blurt his words out. „Thank you for protecting us. I heard from Sakura what you did…. And like said, normally I used to sit here…“ he shows you a side smile but you kept your head down in a frown. You shortly inhale as you recall the moments in the forest. Sasuke was unconscious so like Naruto. She was alone being harassed and attacked. You helped her even after your comrade were killed from Orochimaru. Rock Lee joined your attempt but got knocked out after he used this forbidden Jutsu. You just felt feral at that time and were ready to kill anything…. Thank god, Team 10 arrived and Shikamaru Nara, an old friend of yours could calm you down. 

„I… I .. didnt do anything you should thank Team 10 for helping us…“ Again tears dwell in your eyes. 

„It is not easy to thank you, what?“ Huh? „Before Rock Lee and Team 10 arrived Sakura was alone and even you have lost your Team members you had enough will to help her. I just thanking you for this. And… I am sorry for your loss.“ The last phrase he spokes out, were very soft.

„I am pathetic..“ You mumble as you couldn’t look up.

„….?“ Sasuke seems clueless why you insult yourself as you tell him more. „I cry here over two people and you lost your whole clan.“  The silence is killing you until Sasuke starts to talk again.

„You can not compare this. You shouldn’t align with it…. It is different and still tremendous to lose someone close to you…..“ He seems to be deep in thought. There is silence as you try to keep you tears in. 

„I going to kill this man Orochimaru!“ Sasuke bits his lip as he looks forward and touch his curse mark.

Even you peek out of your arms into the water as you agree with him. You think that tears stopped long enough so that your face didn’t show any clues of crying.

„Me too!“ You look forward determined. He smirks as his eyes looks to the side to your clutched form. 

„So finished with the crying?! You are all red and puffy!“

You gasped and pout. „I wanna see you crying all day and night, how you look! Definitely, not good like now.“ He rest his head sassy in his hand. „So… I look good right now…“ He teases you as you blush. Okay, you found him attractive yet you are not a fangirl! Yes, the night and moonlight add something to his charm. „I won’t answer this to fill more confidence in you….“

He scoffs as he looks from you angered  form away to the lake again.

„Then, let’s agree to defeat him together.“ His voice again softer but serious. 

„Yes.“ You simply state and breath in so out. You stand up slowly and stretch your body. Then, you slap your own cheeks as you out of nowhere jump into the water. Sasuke is surprised and shocked as he watches you.

„What the hell?!“ He kneels over the water to have a look where you were. Did you really just jump into..? As you cut surface again, he calms down his nerves. You swim to the dock and rest your hands-on the shore while looking up into his eyes.

„Sasuke!“ You shout out determined to him to gain his attention. „Huh?!“ He seems a bit out of it.

„I decided to continue the Chunin Exam for the sake of my comrades!“ You boldly state towards him. He smirks as he sees in your face confidence and hope. 

„Thats good to know. Yet, you know that is possible you have to fight me?! Are you ready for that? I am not going easy on you.“

„Hah!“ You wave his taunt off. „You really think that you are a big shot, huh?“You grin as you tease back.

„ I shall remind you that I was better than you in the academy…“ „The academy is long over…“ „Don’t take you mouth too full now, Y/N!“ He closes his eyes confidently with a smirk. He is sure that he can beat you.

You slowly got into position to grab his collar and draw it dangerously close. You hear him gasp when your lips almost touches and directly have eye contact. Maybe, you lips touches slightly when you counter back. „Same goes for you!“ His eyes flicker over your wet lips. For a moment he wants to say something as he stutter a bit. He can not control his flustered state. His cheeks burn red and he breathes hastily.  This surprise of you and the weird desire to touch our lips with his own. How could you be so bold suddenly and draw him down towards you. Moreover, you grin evilly as you see that you got him cornered. All these emotions last only seconds when he… „Huh I- What are you-?!“ Splash!

 … is dragged by you into the water. You laugh out loudly and get fast out or you wanted too. As he arises from the water, you look behind you and just stretch out your tongue. 

„If you are like this in the Examen, I think I can handle you….“ Before you can stand tall on the dock, you feel something grasping your ankle and got drawn back. ‚Oh no!‘ You yell in your head. Even so, you control your Chakra at your feet to stand on the water. Sasuke notices this as he flipped you backwards and you got dizzy while landing into the deep wet again. You dive up and splash him annoyed. „What was that?!“

„Huh, Payback.“ He said cocky. You roll your eyes.

„Wait…“ he focused on your face. „What is it?!“ „Your Headband is gone…“ You touch your forehead and yeah somehow the knot got loose. You directly look into the water yet the dark night doesn’t  help you out with the sight.

„I can’t see it. Damn it.“ The problem is… The lake here isn’t shallow at all. So you have to find it before it hit the ground. You shrieks when Sasuke points out „There!“ And dive rapidly into the water. You can only wait until seconds pass. The moonlight comes out behind some clouds and gifts you a slight chance to see movements under water. Does he got it? You hate to wait and can not do anything. Suddenly, the water brakes and Sasuke inhales loudly. „You got it?!“

He closes one eye and rises one arm out of the water where he hold your headband.

„Yay. You are the be-!“ Ugh. 

„What am I?“ He teases and shakes your headband.

„Thank you, you did well and please hand it over…..“ You spread your arms out.

„Hmm…“ He rises his arms higher as you were about to grab it. „What?!“ 

„What is my thanks?“ He playfully looks away.

„Woah! I didn’t take you for this kind of play. What do you want?“ The water is not freezing could yet the summer night is a bit chilly and just standing makes you shiver a bit. You begin to drench the water out of your hair while pouting. He got you in the end.

His eyes flicker for moment again to you lips as he shyly blush. „I don’t want anything..“ He mumbles bashfully. You cluck your tongue again annoyed. This boy drives your emotion from ‚Oh how nice‘ to ‚He pisses me off‘ again to ‚Oh, how adorable and than to ‚What the fuck does he want.‘ „Seriously….!“ You just swim towards him and try to catch your headband which is still in air. 

„Hey, we didn’t agree..“ He starts his sentence while having his arms stretched out  behind his head and you force yourself onto him. You have an annoyed expression on your face and focus on getting your precious headband back. What is he playing anyway, you thought. He is so out of character. Then, you feel yourself losing the balance and almost fell backwards. You climbed halfway on him. Out of reflex, he grasp your thighs tightly and your hold yourself on his shoulders. Your and Sasuke nose brushing together as you feel your ears getting burning red. You begin to stutter when you search words for distraction. Why is he looking like he is about to-! 

„Hmpf.“ The Uchiha boy close the distance and kissed you lips. How could he not? The whole time, he was drawn to your lips and as they got again so close, he saw the wet lips getting shine upon the moonlight. There was nothing holding him back. (Wait is that not a song xD)

You deepen the kiss when your arms slide over his shoulders and your hands wander over his neck into his hair.  He shivers as your hands rush over his curse mark to his hair. Definitley, one of his sensitive area. You relaxed firstly because he is really warm, secondly  all the mixed emotion you felt from frustration, depression, sadness, it makes you feel at ease in his arms and thirdly his kiss feels just so good. His arms wander  from your thighs to your back. Slowly, you apart from his lips to breathe again. He touches your forehead with his.

„Is it wrong when I kiss you again?“ He breathes with half lidded eyes. You want to say a ‚No‘ but you kiss him already. Now, his hand reaches towards your head to push you more passionately on him. You can only focus one one thing and your thinking stopped. Or you thought so. Then, you push yourself away hastily. „You still got my headband?!“ As nothing roams in your brain, this just emerged up.

„Really, now?“ He shows you his left hand which he still had it. „Thank god. Sorry I thought you lost it because of all this.“ He chuckles when he flicks your forehead. „Ow, Why?!“ You hold your forehead with a hand and pout at him. „Give me more credits.“ He says with a smile. A kind smile. Without sensing  your assault you dip his body under the water as you press you weight on his shoulders. This time, you make it to the shore and hold your arms while you shiver. 

 „Sure, you got me here…“ He groans while climbing out of the lake. Before you wanted to say good bye, you kiss his cheeks. 

„Thank you for cheering me up…“ „You know I didn’t kiss you only to cheer you up.“ „I know but the reason you came here..:“ „Like I said, Its my spot…“

„Yeah, Yeah it is almost morning, Idiot. Don’t tell me you-! AHHH“ Again he pushed your sideways from the shore. With one eye open and a smirk, he just wanna know if you make it back unharmed.

„If I had lost my headband again, I would kill you!“ 

„Show that attitude in the Chuunin Examen, cry baby.“

„I am so gonna beat you!“

„Like hell.“

„I know your weakness, Uchiha!“ Before, he can counter you back, you tease him with stroking his neck by your finger tips. He shutters while grasping his shoulder. 

„Wha-!“ His voice trembles. 

„You really thought I wouldn’t notice-ACHOO!“

„Get your butt better home and take off your wet clothing before you are disqualified because you are sick.“

„Yeah,….“ You groan. „Can I get a good-bye ki-!“ You playfully ask him when two finger move towards your forehead and push you a bit  back.

„Next time, Y/N, when you are not totally drenched.“ With red cheeks you brush you forehead pouting as you look to him up. „Okay.“ You turn your heels and leave the boy in the dark night of the streets.

„Good night, cry baby!“ You glare at him back while stucking your tongue out.

Out of sight, the Uchiha starts to sneeze ,too.

The beginning - Part one

Before you came to the glorious Tohsaka family, your parents started to live in Japan for better life. Basically, you were born in Japan and had no problem to learn their language. But the tragic began with you being two years old. The Holy Grail War started and your parents are killed amid it. You can not remember that you lain in a puddle of blood and cried. Someone saved you and you stayed two years in an orphanage. Yet, you remembered a tall man, Tokiomi Tohsaka, stand in front of you with a relieved face. As if he searched you for a long time.  You waited two years to be adopted and bubbly next to the stranger. Of course, you missed your parents even so you had no idea at that time what happened. And now, you gonna have a normal family again. Tokiomi told you that he knows your father from work and he felt responsible for your sake. „I am just happy you adopted me and we can be a  real family!“ He just smiled at you.

Rapidly, you learned that the Tohsaka Family is famous for magic. You loved it because it is like from a fairy tale. A year later, your younger sister Rin Tohsaka is born. Actually, you have two sisters, Sakura and Rin, but after a few years your are not allowed to talk about Sakura as your sister. She was sent to the Matou family. The reasons or formalities couldn’t you comprehend as a child. Even though, you were just adopted by Tokiomi of sympathy cause of his friend, he taught you the magic ritual of his family. He talked about the gem stones and the bond this family has. You find it really interesting to listen even so you had a hard time using the power. You don’t have his blood and so he still was strict. Aoi, your adopted mother showed some sympathy and whispers to you as she putted you to bed that he is doing it because he accepted you as his own. With new motivation, you succeeded to make him proud. After this, he talked about the Holy Grail War which is gonna held in four years. You loved his stories about this war and felt already excited even he said that he doesn’t want you, Aoi and your sister to be close when the Grail War started.

„And who are you  gonna call as your Servant, father?“ You orbs watch him with excitement of his answer. He laughed.

„We still have time… Who do you think I should call?“

You put up a thinking face as you recalled old heroes you heard. 

„Herakles? Wasn’t he super strong?!“ You giggle as you remember the Disney movie. 

„Yeah, but is  just strength important?“ You shake your head as you again start to think.

„Achilles! He is strong, fast and clever!“ „Oho! From here did you hear from this hero?“

„From school… In history, we talked a bit about Greek legends.“

„Ah… this explains a lot.“

At this you begin, to read old lores from heroes. You know about Arthur, nordic heroes like Ragnar or Alexander the Great. First, you ran with any added story to your father’s office and rant about the new great star you have found. Then, he told you it just can not be any kind of hero, it had to be a special one fitted for the Tohsaka family… After this, you became more critical. You searched for any witted characterized hero. A little disappointed you walk towards Rin who was now three years. „Little Rin, you have no idea how hard it is to find the perfect servant …“ you watch her reach out towards you with her little hands smiling. „Aw, you are so cute!“ You snuggle a bit with her. Again, you found yourself curled up in a corner of the Tohsaka library. You searched for any Irish stories and if they had any ‚wit‘ you searched. Bumping into a shelve you shriek a bit when a book falls to the floor. A very old book. You took it in your arms as you carry this heavy book to the couch to flick through it. 

„The Epic of… Gil-Gil-Gilgame- …“ You eyebrows twitch annoyed. Somehow, you can not speak it out. With one try you almost screamed this name.

„GIL-GA-MESH!“ You sighed. „What a weird name…“ More you thought was weird the story… You couldn’t understand it. Somehow …. It repeats so often and the text is over empurpled. You closed it annoyed and walked back to the shelves as you blink back. The book was so beautiful golden. It took seconds as you again sat in front of it and tried to understand this flowery language. Maybe, this story got you because you didn’t finished the book in a day or two. A whole year took you to finally understand his tale. You remember how you closed the book proudly and a bit sad that it was over. „Woow!“ Rin was four years as she mumbled. 

„Are finally done with this boring book.“ You look up to her as you begin to smirk. „It wasn’t boring. It was epic.“ You wanted to laugh at your own joke yet the four year old didn’t understand it. 

„Oookay? Can we play, sister?“ You nod and run towards her giggling. 

Your relationship with Rin was almost like a real sibling. You loved her and she loved you. Everything changed as she could partake into magic lessons. She was already with her six years so good like you with eleven years. Well, almost. Yet, you felt that she is close to get better than you. You heart sinks as you compliment her. She is jiggly when even Tokiomi praised her and boast with her skills to everyone. He never had done  that with you… You sadly watch him carry her around laughing as she perfected her first magic spell. You wanted to scream as you fake smile at their happiness. 

„Well, Well… Y/N!“  You shriek as you blink at him.

„You didn’t ever came to me to tell me what kind of servant should serve me in the Holy Grail War. It is only a year…“ You had your mouth a bit open as you looked down ashamed. 

„You were right when you said, it is not easy to find a fitting hero for our family yet…“ You put your beloved book on his desk. He watched it curiously with Rin in his arms.  Rin yelled in disgust. „Oh no! The boring book of yours.“ „The epic of Gilgamesh…“ Tokiomi read the title as he looked back to you. „I never heard of him…“

You red cheeks betrayed your excitement.

„Well, he is stronger than Herakles, faster than Achilles, clever than uhhh any Heroes and he was king in Uruk. Rich was he also…“ Okay, how you put your arguments are not clever. 

„He is not one of the oldest heroes. He is the first one who existed or who is written about it. That is why nobody seems to know about him. He didn’t start as a hero more like villain who…“

„Okay, Okay. I get it. You seem to be very convinced about him, right.“

„Yes. If I would partake this war, I would definitely take him as my servant.“ You clap your hand on this book like an adult. He laughs at your maturing acting. 

„So enough for today.“ When you two leave his room, he watches curiously the book you brought. After this, he did some research of your hero you found and what do we have here. You may lack at you magic skills but you don’t fail with your researches. It was decided: Gilgamesh is gonna be the servant of the Tokoimi Tohsaka.
