Had to get in on #Galemas! I definitely can not get every prompt this season, but I had to try this one! I'm so happy to draw my daughter again 😭

First prompt is Misletoe!

Day 4: The World That Never Was

Iliana glows like a glow stick when she's excited, nervous, or any other similar emotion. Flynn uses her as a flashlight. Hugo uses her as a nightlight

Splat paints on every cloak Julian owns. He pretends to be annoyed but secretly keeps the ones painted beyond any sort of repair

Lucys hair and body leak ink a lot from her portal master mutations and side effects. Cali banned her from the library for a week after she accidentally made an ink pool form in it

Nico has ghost spirits that follow him around everywhere and are always talking to him as a result of him becoming an Undead Portal Master. He is as equally horrified by this as everyone else is

Fright Rider let Nico ride Ozzie once. The boy was mortified the whole time but Fright and Ozzie were having a great time. Hugo slightly chastised them for it

Julian made a cat out of shadow once. Flynn screamed as it proceeded to chase him around for about 30 minutes because it wanted to play

Iliana interrupts Eon’s discussions with her by gasping at birds. He pretends not to mind but she really is his favorite distraction

Aurora gives Iliana the nickname “Sunbeam,” and she beams so brightly she blinds people

Lucys has an ink creature familiar she named Oswald. He communicates in squeaks, scribbles when he writes on paper with his wispy ends, and punctuation marks that float above his head like a cartoon character

^ He can also change shape, but defaults to a cat like blob with long ears because Lucy once doodled that and he “liked the vibe”

Julian becomes Brunos favorite pranking victim. His reactions are quiet, subtle, and adorable

Adriana mothers Nico more than anyone in the 10 of the Rings. She fusses over him constantly: fixing his hair, adjusting his sleeves, making sure he’s eaten. Nico freezes every time she hugs him, but he also feels incredibly safe around her

"My sweet girl," he cried, lifting his daughter into his arms. He held her close, relishing her familiar scent. He had missed it so much—missed her. Relief and joy overwhelmed him. He was home to her. He kissed her head, her cheeks, her fingers, and her toes. Every bit of her was beautiful, but more importantly, safe. The weight of it all came bearing down on him like a dam breaking after having held back a flood for too long. This time his knees didn't recover; he fell to the floor, cradling Iliana in his arms. Doing my Mikaelsons + Klaus siblings + cousins.

Aaron — Normal about her. That's just his niece. He doesn't really care about Hayley so Hope's got less points than Marcel, who he likes more. Solid 0/10. If someone else were the mother, he might be a little weirder.

Astoria — Aw, a baby! However, she and Jeremy are kind of runners. Like, very distant aunt and uncle who come by for holidays. She can call them but they might not answer. They're too busy living it up. Once Hope is allowed to travel sometimes, they'll probably have more of a relationship. Solid 1/10 because she was a little :/ she was no longer the baby of the family. (She was also in love with Marcel for a second sooooooo she had Feelings about him loving Hope. She's a freak at heart).

Magnus — He barely knows Hope exists tbh. He's much more obsessed with the fact Dahlia (who he knows!) likes Klaus more than him. 2/10 because sometimes I let him and Liv raise Jolaric's babies and in that situation, Liv encourages them to have a relationship with Hope and in that case, he gets to look at her and be mad he didn't have a kid first (literally by his own choice) to endear Dahlia to him.

Soren — 3/10. She only exists as a bargaining chip to make Klaus feel bad about things until she is in her teens.

Hilda — 3/10. Hope is a bargaining chip, ala Elijah style, for Hilda to try to sway Freya to let Dahlia kidnap her so they can raise her as a happy family <3 When that doesn't work, she acts surprised Klaus doesn't trust her with her. Like, does family mean nothing?

Amelia — 4/10 because she's dating Kai and he's so weird about kids that she doesn't let him be around. Hope feels slighted by this and requests to spend a summer with them and she comes back much more spoiled. Amelia doesn't talk to Klaus for a week out of shame. Unfortunately, it makes her like Hope more.

Mianna — 4/10. Klaus wants her to be weirder but she actually just feels a little jealous that Hope has a good mom and a dad who at least does not hate her. Klaus convinces her to call Mianna, aunt mommy. It's bad. Hayley kind of likes it which makes it worse, actually.

Augustus — 5/10. He's in love with Hayley and they cheat on everybody they're with, with each other. Hope kind of notices this and starts calling him a jerk. He thinks it's kind of funny and Hayley has to keep reminding him it's not. (Note: It's rare that Hope exists in AU's with him, but when she does, they have one-sided beef he refuses to squash because it makes Hayley mad at him, which he likes).

Sigurd — 5/10. He actually claims Klaus because Adinah does. So he kinda kidnaps Hope every so often. He tells her about his brother who would probably love to train her. Klaus tries to murder him.

Angela — I actually have her having a kid with Silas who predates Hope by three months so she's weird about the fact people seem to like Hope more (note: she does not tell people about her kid. She hides the parentage. She in fact ghosts them all during the pregnancy and first year of her life. She is still mad they all know Hope more!!). Solid 6/10.

Eira — Hayley and Klaus (and usually Tyler) are typically dating by the time Hope is born in her stories (and none of my Klaus kissers exist) so the situations are different, usually. That being said, this is the communal raising thing that Elijah wanted. Eira gets to have Hope for weeks at a time and no one stops her. So she gets a 6/10 because she claims Hope as her daughter and keeps beefing with Davina the entire time, who is Hope's aunt, and she's irked when Hope loves her. Evens out with Angela for abandoning her every time she expresses affection for Davina.

Nathan — 6/10 because Rowena forces him to be involved in her life just because Davina is. As a result, Hope looks up to him (for some odd reason) and he's kind of annoyed. If/when they have a kid, he makes sure to let Hope know she's moved down on his list in his own way.

Adinah — She thinks her, Dahlia and Esther are all the grandma. 6/10.

Henrik — By force. He and Bonnie are so happy once they find out about Dahlia that Klaus had a baby first that they get really involved in raising her. Also, in some timelines, I let Hope get sent with them. It lasts a longer time than they thought it would and they raise her until she's five. So for that, I'm giving him a 8/10. She's his daughter who is not hit daughter and he's pissed that she calls Hayley her mom. #Toxic.

Delilah — Elijah doesn't exist here until after Hope is born so it's rare Klaus gets forced to keep that baby BUT on the occasions she does exist, she's put into Delilah instead. She doesn't mind it but Damon is NOT a fan. Neither is Klaus. This actually turns into Defan + Delilaus raising Hope. 8/10 because she's technically her mom and so she's justified in being "weird" about her but kind of less justified because she wants Hope to date Hayley's other daughter who she has with Jackson about five years later so she keeps killing anyone else Hope has a thing for. Roman makes it because Damon forces Enzo to fall in love with him and save him from liking Hope. He likes his murder wife though. He wants her to end up with one of Ric's daughters though so they're at odds.

Kaia — 9/10. She doesn't want any of her siblings to do anything to bring anymore attention to the family. She pretends Hope doesn't exist and gives her a complex about it.
