Shave and Haircut by Neil Kesterson Via Flickr: Georgetown, KY. *1939 Project. My goal was to shoot anything that would have been around in 1939 on this 1939 Argus A-Ilex Precise. The Argus A series, this being the first, popularized 35mm film. The film, Ilford FP4+, was introduced in 1935 as "FP". The developer, Rodinal, was invented in 1895 and has never lost popularity.

@outerwilds-events Campfire Fest 2026, Day 1. Prompts: Purple, Nomai, Broken, Rare Pair.
For this fic, I wrote about the long path toward romance between Solanum and Ilex, filled with a general inability (or unwillingness) to actually address their feelings, in favor of letting them toss and turn and fester indefinitely. …Also, there's, like, a deadly comet or whatever at some point, which definitely doesn't affect those feelings at all, no sirree!
…A ship between one of the most popular characters from the game, in a situation featuring next to none of the why behind that popularity, and a character who has a grand total of like three lines of dialogue, an essay, and a poem for characterization, all from childhood, pulled from among the many individuals who rarely ever appear in fanworks, let alone fic, let alone fic where they're major characters. A ship that doesn't have any works for it on AO3 ('least as far as I can tell), let alone a Canonical Tag. How's that for a Rare Pair?!

The evergreen Ilex aquifolium (holly) makes a dense hedge if pruned regularly. The dark, glossy green, spiny leaves make an excellent background. There are small white flowers in spring followed by bright red berries on pollinated female plants, but for a uniform hedge the same clone may be selected.
