Exceptionally expensive, big, heavy, and manual focus only, it makes no sense on paper. And then you take photos with it. It suddenly makes sense. This is straight out of camera, and the incredibly rendering, color, and killer resolution/contrast even at F1.4 is astounding. Images just look special. I shot this on a Sony a7RIII to take advantage of the MF aids there and chose a site where a small forest fire had burned through and given a unique environment. I lit the scene with 2 Godox V1S flash units.
