I forgot to mention in my Skyward Sword update that the game does a good job in making me really glad to see a chair. I'm glad I'm characterizing Sky well haha.

Maybe this one hasn’t been asked yet lol
What songs (doesn’t matter what kind) do you associate with each of The Boys? No rush, just curious and wanting to give you more yapping enablement lol
~ SCP-42605
I actually have playlists for each of The Boys. I'd share them, but I don't want to doxx myself somehow.
It actually started because I was listening to a certain song and said to myself, "I need to make a playlist for Vet. This is the song (Don't take it too seriously. It's for his most depressive state and is mostly sarcastic and/or exaggerated. This song is hyperbole. And ignore the wife part):
For whoever: If they could time travel to any time and place, where and when would they go?
I'm going to give Earth answers unless there's a Hyrule event that stands out. I'll also assume they can blend in without a problem. (Looking at you, Aspect.)
Sky: fsr on first instinct he's giving me old England vibes. I don't know enough about the timeline there to be more specific, but sometime between the Regency and Victorian eras. But at the same time, I don't think he'd enjoy it? The nice parts are too stuffy for him, you know? He'd probably be happiest seeing a bunch of nature scenes. Which reminds me:
Wind: When the land bridge broke and became the Strait of Gibraltar, refilling the evaporated Mediterranean Sea. Seeing that much water burst through the dam-like earth would be quite the sight. He'd love it. He'd probably also have fun looking at dinosaurs. For a civilization, I'd say modern-day anywhere. Because he gives me Zoomer vibes. Just keep him away from the brainrot (challenge: impossible). He'd also think Venice is neat.
Vet: Ancient China. I don't know enough history to be more specific, but I think he'd find all of it interesting. He'd travel to all sorts of places though.
Verdi: 1st century Rome. Specifically the city of Rome. Or maybe the Renaissance.
Aspect: I used ancient Central American civilizations as inspiration for him, so I'm going to say that. But he also gets overwhelmed by people, so he'd rather not actually be there haha. Maybe he'd be more into visiting the ruins?
Twilight: He's a cowboy. 'Nuff said. I think he'd also be interested in the life of the hero before him, but he's kind of getting that anyway.
Engineer: Either the Industrial Revolution or modern-day Japan. Japan strictly for the trains. He'd probably have more fun in the modern day tbh.
Would they rather the security of a schedule, or the freedom of spontaneity?
^This one for whoever you want to answer about
Wild: Spontaneity. He has a to-do list that he does in a random order and may not actually make progress on until next week.
Sky: It's nice to have a routine to break as he chooses. He's not afraid to miss classes. Well, he's not in school anymore, but the point remains.
Gen: Doesn't mind a schedule, but it's nice to break it.
@interlink-au made Minish Cap-style sprites of Spring and Gan for me, so I made these Earthbound-style sprites of her boys as thanks!
Top row: Sky, Gen, Mini, and Junior Second row: Forest, Ember, River, and Quartz Third row: Twilight, Mask, Wind, and Engineer Fourth row: Vet, Verdi, Echo, and Mouse Fifth row: Cap, Aspect, Wild, and Ness for reference/comparison Thanks so much again for the sprites you made for me, GiGi!

Sky (SS), Mask (OoT/MM), and Mouse (TLoZ/AoL) in profile.
I just like how different their ears are. :) I'm hoping to eventually get through the whole group, but we'll see.
Should I work on colored full-body drawings of the boys? Yes. Am I drawing profile headshots instead? Double yes.
They all have such different ears and noses, okay? I want to appreciate them. Anyway, here's some wips.
Sky's ears are so odd. I don't think I did them justice. I love how NES Link/Mouse's ears are so big and stick straight up. And Mask has such long and delicate ears. Even more so as an adult. His ears and nose are so long and pointy and I love it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I hate that my joints are making me have to quit now. I want to draw Wind! And Twilight and Vet and Verdi and...
you might have noticed, but I kinda just binged most of what you’ve put out for Interlinked so far🤣 I love it!
You mentioned that Mask has a Kokiri/Scottish accent and that Twilight has an old fashioned Western/cowboy accent, how do the others talk? (So I know how to “hear” them in my head when I read lol)
They all talk with the same general sound as they have in their individual games. For example, Wild has a soft voice. He has a Hatennan (Hateno) accent! My sister discovered it during her playthrough of BOTW. In Hateno, he talks a little differently. Like saying "hullo" instead of "hello" or "hi." Let me know what you think a Hatennan accent would sound like!
Here is a video that has some of their VAs talking in more than "hyah"s for reference. Not all of them work. Like the Hero of Time's for example. Mask is a child. And the voice clips they took for Wild have a deeper tone than he uses in the game. The Four in that video is super spot on, though.
The Colors have slightly different pitches from each other in the games. Ember has the highest pitch, Forest is "default", River is pitched deeper, and Quartz is the deepest. (I had to correct this because I got it backwards.)
I considered giving Mini a slight Irish accent just for funsies, but after I gave Mask the Kokiri accent, I knew adding another one would be too much. You can imagine it if you want to though.
Gen sounds like a normal 25 to 30-year-old man. Idk. I have a voice in my head, but I'm really terrible at describing really average things. Slightly deep. Quite a bit like Twilight's, now that I think about it, but without the accent.
Vet's snarky voice comes off as quite nasally. For tone/pitch I've seen people reference Pointcrow. And yeah, you can imagine a nasally, younger-sounding Pointcrow if that helps.
Dipper from Gravity falls works well enough for Mouse's voice.
While mute, Echo does make sounds when he's fighting. It sounds the same as in the game.
The stuff below this is for the people (like me at times) who struggle to imagine Japanese VAs speaking English. So here are a few English examples, but please use whatever head voices you imagine! Heaven knows Sky, Mouse, and Ember's voices keep being too soft in my head.
I feel a little bad that I'm not good at finding more specific voice samples. I'm honestly piggybacking off of other people's ideas for most of these. I might spend more time on this later and reblog this post with some additions.
You could use Gumball as a comparison for Wind. But with more energy and a higher pitch.
