(I Know Leopard) - Rather Be Lonely 

I was so lonely in the crowd.

Sydney based band, I Know Leopard released “Hold On Tight”, their second single off their upcoming debut EP, Illumina. This band knows the right elements to have one put a song on some massive repeat! This track puts you in a modern, yet organic place through instrumentals that belong attached to a dream sequence. It's a nostalgic ride with 70's inspired sounds, that put you in a place of discovery, amongst textures and lush color. Luke O’Loughlin’s vocals move like a summer beach breeze through a pair of sheer curtains, or through salty, ocean dipped beach hair along with melodies that feel like a calm rolling wave. Its a snapshot to a time away with friends, where the light from the sun quickly becomes the glow from a lantern. I'm not sure if I have been here before, but with I Know Leopard, I know I want to be again and again.
