You two were on a date, just looking around and having fun in IKEA when you finally made it to the plushie section. It was your favourite place, and Juhoon knew it.

What he didn't know was the consequences of bringing you there.

You didn’t need to search for anything. You immediately found what you were looking for.

“OMG! Jju, look! This plushie looks exactly like you!” you exclaimed smiling, holding the plushie in front of his face, your other hand not letting go of his hand.

It was a green alien with huge eyes, an ‘o’ shaped mouth and two antennas on his head. The green thing looked just like your boyfriend and you needed it. There was no way you leaving it there.

“Do you see it? His eyes and mouth are exactly like yours!” you tried to convince him.

He smiled, slowly shaking his head.

“Where?” He asked.

“Look closer” you said. “Look at his eyes. His eyes are big, just like yours. And the expression he's making, it's totally you.” You smiled.

“I still don't see it” he said it teasingly, clearly enjoying the situation.

“He's almost as cute as you,” you added.

Blush started to creep on his cheeks even though he was the one who got himself in that situation.

But he had hide it. He had to act nonchalant. Of course. But you saw right through it.

“...almost…?” he asked. “I can't believe a green thing is ‘almost’ out mogging me. Wow” he said jokingly.

“Bruh. Stop acting nonchalant, I already know your cute side and I know it's lowkey growing on you.” You said, exposing him.

“Alright alright. I'm starting to see it.” He confessed.

“...I want to get one”

“Why?”

“Cuz it looks like you”

“But you have me”

“...hmm…You're right…”

You two were walking towards the registers carrying a lamp you wanted to buy when Juhoon suddenly stopped.

“I need to go to the restroom. You don't have to wait for me. You can go ahead.” He said and stormed off to the opposite direction.

You quickly bought the cute lamp and bought some food on the way out, and sat down on a nearby bench.

You sat on that bench for about 15 minutes scrolling on social media, waiting for your boyfriend to come back.

“Did he get lost or something?”

Just when you asked yourself, Juhoon popped out from nowhere, causing you to jump.

“JJU YOU SCARED ME!”

“Sorry babe i didn't mean to” he chuckled. “I wanted to surprise you with these”

He took out the cute alien plush that you desperately wanted and gave it to you.

You were speechless. Your eyes drifted between him and the plush. He bought it. The plush what you wanted. For you.

“I know I said that you have me, but I want you to remember me through this alien when I'm not with you.”

“This is lowkey cheesy but really cute” you said, almost tearing up.

“You just had to ruin this moment, didn't you?” He laughed.

“Sorry” you giggled. “But seriously it's sooo cute and it's really thoughtful of you. Thank you so so much. I promise I'll treasure it forever.”

“Oh also got us matching keychains.” He said like it's nothing and took out 2 keychains.

“It's the same kind of alien like the plushie, but smaller.” he explained.

“Oh my god Jju don't play with me.”

You took one of the keychains in your hand.

“This is so cute I'm gonna cry. I love you so much. Hold on, I'm gonna hang it on my bag.” You attached it onto your bag. “Now you're coming with me to every location I go to”

“Great.” he said sarcastically but smiling. “You’ll do the same, you're coming with me” he said and put his alien keychain on his keys.

At midnight, when you should have been asleep you sent your boyfriend a selfie.

In the picture, you were hugging the alien and smiling very brightly.

When he saw the picture he almost dropped his phone. You were so incredibly cute in the photo. The “I miss you sm <3” text was cherry on top for him.

He sent you back a simple “I miss you 2” text to keep his nonchalantness, even though he was fighting cuteness aggression.

He would never admit it loud but in reality he was very jealous of that green plushie that you were holding.

To be honest, there were a lot of things he didn't say out loud. On the outside he might seem like a ‘not so emotional’ guy but he was a really heartfelt person. And you were the only person who could see this side of him.
