“And are you gonna tell me what’s so important you had to come in here and be a piece of shit?” Vriska moves closer until she’s practically pressed her chest against Dave’s shoulder, which he instinctively leans away from. “Do you even actually care..?” Dave mumbles as he looks up from the alchemiter screen to rifle through his sylladex. He sighs when he discovers the 10-Foot Apple Slice is not there. Dave’s shoulder bumps Vriska as he moves away from the alchemiter. She frowns. “Of course not,” she lies, “I just feel like causing you problems right now. Is it working?” “Kind of, yeah.” Dave sighs again and floats towards the door to the room. Vriska, of course, follows.

Dave goes on a little adventure while trying to find something to shave his face with. Vriska gets wrapped up in it because she's a nosy piece of shit, and he deals with it.

Shuichi tries to be subtle, when he's dissociating. He doesn't like to worry his friends, so he plays it off like he's fine, whenever he can. However, some of his friends are just too perceptive. (No they're not, he's just terrible at being subtle.)
Ryoma is the first one who seems to notice, one day, that Shuichi is definitely Not Okay. So he takes charge, and takes Shuichi out of all of his problems for a while. He understands. And it works.
Ryoma then helps Shuichi lessen one of his problems, and sits with him as nothing gets better.
Side plot: Kaede tries to explain to Kaito what dissociation is, which results in him having a self-discovery that he didn't want to have.
