Idk, maybe its the transgender in me but I love the idea that ii refers to Vessel as his wife. People who don't know are picturing this tiny little woman, dainty and maybe not sweet because it's ii, but then Vessel rocks up to the conversation, looming and bulky and intimidating and ii just goes "hi honey!" and pulls Vessel down to kiss him on the cheek and Vessel's face just lights up, smile blinding and shy, and Vessel lets ii manhandle him however he wants as long as he continues to touch him. This will inevitably end up with Vessel sitting in ii's lap. Yes, he is too big. No, they do not care. No, do not try to suggest that they might be more comfortable if ii sat in Vessel's lap instead, they will stare at you as if you've grown two extra heads.
