Like did we watch the same show???? Paper didn't even expect OJ to stay with him or force Paper up the boat or cancel the whole trip using his "OSC powers". Even better OJ let PAPER decide for PAPER'S own freedom to stay with metag.

It's not a y/n story dude. Paper can handle himself without OJ. Stop just associating Paper with OJ and vice versa. They have their own backstories as a character and will act or react with it as growth and life decisions.

If anything, Paper is more independent now that he has OJ as a support system, don't just water down his confidence boost as a supported person. Even if you really want to label him as impulsive from the high of his ego, his impulse wasn't malicious, let my boy be proud dawg. Now that Paper finally has OJ as a stabilizer for his mental health, he wants to be that stabilizer for someone else.

(I'm not completely defending Paper for showing off his relationship throughout S4 tho, yes it did come off as cocky, but imo? He deserves to be comfortable and happy, it's not like he belittles people on the regular like some certain silver utensil but that's a conversation for another day)

Still, this is all opinions by the end of the day and anyone's reality only matters to themselves the most. But hating without insight is screaming low media literacy. If you're indifferent to it, there's no need to hate on it, let people have fun dawg.(If you find fun in hating that's something you should reflect on👀)
