So I can totally see why social media can be a big draw for many young folk. Whilst I'm proud you have both stayed away from FB and Insta I am well aware that DA and a few other forums you "share art" on are also social media. Knowing this, Ive gotta let you both know that social media has totally got you by the balls! AND now I understand why!! I totally had a moment with a little Wren and wanted to share a pic and a lil impromptu poem that came to mind... And I mean I REALLY wanted to.. almost craved to make a little excerpt about it for ya..

I get that it( the desire to digitise our day)s is not about validation... I sense it's some weird intrinsic desire to convey experience in Art form.
Closet DIY-er over here…I mean, you do notice how often I reference my SheShed, right?!? Well… if it doesn’t require any heavy duty *actual* tools, then I’m on it I’m a huge fan of gorgeous designs from places like Anthropologie and West Elm… but ya girl ain’t willing to fork over that much cash for things she can probably imitate and get pretty close! Or sometimes I LOVE to find local flea markets or thrift stores, and jazz something up with fresh paint or new fabric! It’s SO satisfying! Sometimes I’ll scour YouTube for inspiration from other DIY and upcycling videos… and then I’ll head out to the dollar store or Hobby Lobby for crafting supplies, all excited. Anyone else??
