Two of our bank robbers are hanging around the Catacombs keeping and eye on things. The three thieves are watching all of Paris from the Sacre-Coeur but what about the one that walked calmly away from the scene? Well, he's with his partner, who by the way has no idea of what's going on, calmly leading his day to day life as if nothing has happened. What the others don't know is that he has been researching famous bank robberies and in the next few days he wants to sneak into the Catacombs and steal all the money for himself. First, however, he has to stage a dramatic breakup to draw attention away from his actual plans. So please forgive the rather grim photo but I bet you've been wondering where our criminals stashed the money. The Paris catacombs of course! What better place to hide bags of money than in a dark place with only one or two guards and no cameras. True, you can feel the historical weight of past Parisian residents but as long as you don't disturb their resting places you'll be okay. See that brick? It marks the spot where they hid the money. It's right behind you in the back of a dark cave. If you look closely you can see the reflection of a man in the mirror on the counter. He's the mastermind of the bank heist. (If you are new here just scroll back a few photos, we're at the beginning of our story). He has been working at this store for the better part of 30 years and he has had enough. Everyday women come in wanting him to mix ingredients so they can look younger and it seems that everyday someone comes in upset that it didn't work. He tells them he is not a magician and that the oils can only go so far but they insist he try something new anyway. Rents are skyrocketing, the owners haven't given him a raise in years and he just found out that there's a Botox clinic moving in down the street.
