i watch an episode of house hunters with every meal i eat and season 257 episode 5….. yall that couple was insane.

setting: agoura hills, ca (35 miles outside LA)

cast: engaged het couple and her parents

plot: emily (the fiancée) insists on living close to her parents, has only lived outside her suburb for one year, and brings her mother along to the house viewings despite antonio (the fiance) EXPLICITLY NOT WANTING THEM TO COME. he tries to expand their search even 10 minutes down the road and she’s like “not gonna happen” and on one house visit where they’re seemingly alone, she’s secretly invited her parents to show up.

he’s trying to keep them in budget and she’s mean about it. like genuinely not nice about this man trying to not have them be broke. he also tries to remind her that her mom is the one who cares about resale value, not her, so if she wants a certain type of shower she should go for it, and she’s like “what so my mom give bad advice now? is that what you’re saying?”

this was genuinely one of the most insane couples. i am praying for this man’s freedom from this family.

Love all this medical drama happening when my partner's about to be unemployed in 19 days and we have insurance through his job...

Anyway I have elevated creatinine levels and so I had a kidney/bladder ultrasound yesterday which came back clear but they found an incidental lesion on my liver so now I have to go in for an MRI and when I tell you that if I have liver problems when I DON'T DRINK it's going to be my villain origin story...
