If you arrived to the manor after him he'd think you're really stupid for being here pregnant but he'd also understand you probably had no idea the real life behind this manor 

If you arrived first before he did he’d still think you're stupid after he finds out the real life about this manor himself

Preaches safe sex definitely the type to scold you about it as if the damage isn’t already done 

He'd either wonder if you're dumb enough coming here pregnant or dumb enough to get pregnant here. 

Not one to whore shame nor slut shame he understands as someone who's a demonic lion and a human at the same time, he gets that people have certain needs and desires but he just thinks that the risk of getting pregnant here is just plain out idiotic.

Though once he finds out that you getting pregnant during your stay here, was never the case. he is somewhat relieved that you were at least smart enough to not do that. 

But the fact that you willingly came to this manor while pregnant leaves him flabbergasted.

Matches with him will go rather smoothly; he has no ill intentions towards you nor your unborn. 

He’s not as violent of a hunter as most of the other male hunters here are , which is surprising given his newfound biological DNA. 

He’s more human than his counterparts, and that really shows through when he's holding your hand gently guiding you to where he spotted the dungeon during a mid chase on your teammate.

Call him Rumpelstiltskin because he wants that baby. 

After some long overthinking He realizes that you won't always be pregnant and eventually will give birth and that leaves him questioning will you raise that baby single with only some help from your friends?

How will you manage that? Who will be there for the baby if both you and your closest friends are too busy for it? 

What if the baby's a boy who will teach it how to be a man someday? Sure a mother can teach her son to be a man by herself but to Marcus it always helps to have a father around, He knew he needed one.

And if it's a girl? Well every girl wants a father to spoil her rotten and give her everything she wants when mommy says no.

If he was born a girl he knew he'd want both a mom and dad. As a boy it was easy for him growing up parentless but a precious baby girl? alone? He can’t phantom the idea.

Then an even more important thought came to his mind

Who will teach the baby schooling? Surely everybody in the manor is busy with their own things but he’s certain he can find time to tutor them. Who will teach them math? Physics? Shapes? Spheres? If not him, the prodigy.

Sure Alva is smart enough to do that  even more than himself, but Alva is not him. 

And luca? He doesn’t need another man around his baby.

He determined he's the best suited to be the babies second guardian 

Denies his feelings for you 100% the type to straight up tell someone “i don’t know what your talking about” while said person is holding literal proof that says otherwise in front of him.

Said proof: match replay of him practically begging you on his hands and knees to let him be a part of your little family’s life so he can turn it into his own pride.

Duos your kept in his ball like a keychain and get carried around everywhere its the safest you and the baby could ever possibly 

If the other hunter happens to be going after you before Marcus could find you he’s running after them like how a lion tracts a gazelle.

Giving birth in his match? He will literally hold you up, caressing your back comforting you throughout the painful contraptions while the others decode as fast as they can to get you out safely.

If they aren’t fast enough Marcus slowly guides you down to the basement to give you a more private calming alone space while getting you into what he believes is the safest and best birthing position. 

Delivers the baby himself, don’t ask how he did it he can't answer that himself because as soon as you went into bleeding screaming for help his mind went into autopilot. The baby is claimed by him now because of this. He believes he is automatically given father privileges, That's his baby now and you can't tell him otherwise. 

Will lie again with no shame “Yes the baby shares my dna they just take after their mother more than me” 

Call him delusional he doesn’t care, everyone in the manor is just grateful the lion didn’t kill it out of instinct

You don’t care about his lies as long as he keeps his promise to never abandon your baby.

If it wasn't in a match and he did get to be there in the same room as someone else(Emily the actual hired doctor for this but he doesn’t see it as that) birthing your baby he's immediately grabbing the baby away from her and wiping the blood all off before gently placing the baby in your arms. 

He doesn’t  move away he stays beside you while you have your mommy bonding time for the first time ever admiring the view like a proud husband and father 

That is his way of claiming the baby in this situation. 

Now if you didn’t give birth in his match and ended up giving birth anywhere else but he wasn’t able to be around? He’s disappointed that he didn’t get to claim the baby (as if its not too late 🙄he soley now holds a life long grudge on the person who birthed the baby instead of him/without him being there)

Will still look after the baby but he isn't as excited about it anymore. The only way you can fix this moody demon's behavior is if you let the lion give your cub a sibling, besides you did tell him in that one match you'd let him turn your little family into his whole pride…

Throws his morales out if you offer him to do this. Forget what he said earlier about it being absolutely absurd and idiotic for someone to get pregnant here, only he and you are an exception to that and you’re an absolute genius for picking him. 

Now let's say it's his biological baby. How did this happen? What will happen now?:

One too many late night flings leads into bigger things. 

Ok not necessarily would call it flings but you can’t say you’re together. You love him but he won’t ever admit he loves you. 

Being too busy focusing on competition within the manor games and too busy upholding his title, he doesn’t have time for a full on relationship.

 but he respects what you both have going on for each other enough to just keep giving whatever and whenever he can to you and only you and he expects the same. 

Accidents happen, it's ok. He will blame himself instead of you even as going far to convince you that you are innocent if you tried saying it was your fault. 

He was in disbelief that he was stupid enough to let this happen. He was a man overcome by lust and you were a woman just looking to be loved.

Believes the best solution is abortion but will not force his opinion onto you though he will at least try to have you see where he's coming from about this. 

He’s a busy man who barely has time for you and this false relationship , how will he have time for a baby too?

And you on the other hand are a survivor that's too risky and even if you were a hunter he’d still think it would be a risk with all these harassers within the manor. 

He Will listen to your side of the argument and put it into thoughts 

Yes, keeping the baby could possibly bring him and you closer and as much as he would love that he just can’t be the man you want him to be.

The possibility of raising another genius into this world is a fascinating idea to him but quickly dismissed as the baby will only know about the manor their entire life.

Babies are adorable, yes but not when they are old enough to talk back.

 “It won't be a baby forever ya’ know it'll be a toddler, a child, then a teen, then an adult”.  

He thinks it's cute that you want a baby with him but he needs you to understand it's not just a baby you and him would be having.

He thinks over it once more when he's finally alone and he hopes you do too

The concept of someone looking like the most beautiful woman he’s ever known mixed with his own looks plagues him. Watching someone grow up with your hair, your face, his eyes, his fangs, his tail.

 Potentially growing up into either a survivor or a hunter. The idea of raising a potential hunter to take after him does sound appealing.

He can teach them billiards, make them a prodigy like him, Teach them physics.

 it’s like a King's heir, his heir.

He’ll have to give up some past times of his maybe tone it down a notch on his games 

Truth be told it was repetitive to him focusing on his games his title his competition, but its all he’s ever really known until he realizes, that maybe this baby was a gift! a sign! his chance to make up for all the times he neglected you, rejected you.

 This baby was his unspoken apology for all the times he refused to whisper back he loved you. 

He believed every time those words slipped past your pretty lips were just because of the heat of the moment.  

refusing every time to give in, biting into you hoping the pain he inflicted upon you would shut you up, saving him from the self guilt of having to hear your heart speak.

He wasn’t worthy of it not after how he treats you, not after how he uses you.

Yet you always came crawling back to him, and no matter how many times  he always hated hearing those three precious words he couldn’t fathom the idea of you ever saying them to anybody else but him. It would kill him if you did.

His once organized room is now drowning in countless baby toys and necessities with a crib by his and yours shared bed awaiting its owner's eventual arrival. 

As much as it hurts his reputation and ego, if it's for you and his baby every match he gets with you ends in ties. Sometimes a loss as he physically forces himself to go friendly.

Now if you had to play a match with a different hunter that simply wouldn’t happen. He’d never allow it and after constant arguments thrown at the baron and picking fights with the others around the manor he was given the deal that for every match you skipped he had to play the double of it. 

Unfortunately meaning he can’t spend as much time with you as he would have liked throughout the pregnancy but hey at least he gets a well long earned maternity leave to be with you and the baby afterwards.

The possibility of you going into labor during a match never comes into existence, just the idea of it sends the man in a frenzy. 

Your last three months of pregnancy he kept you locked up in his room only allowing Emily in for checkups. 

He wants to be the one to help birth the baby, he only has Emily on hand in case of emergencies. She had no choice but to teach him the best she could on how since he was persistent on him being the one

Even going out of their way one time to find a pregnant wild boar outside the manor forest. Keeping it sheltered in a shack and when it gave birth Marcus was the one to help it with all that Emily taught him. 

Using this practice and knowledge he delivered  his baby in his own room, his family’s newfound home.

Everytime he holds the sleeping infant he believes his baby is the best thing to ever happen in his entire life, besides you of course but can you really blame a man trying to be the best father he can be 

Maxwell:

You arrived pregnant

He’s curious and wants to study you in a way, Marcus thinks you were dumb but Maxwell thinks there’s more than just that, he wants to know the story, the tale, why.

Not his baby, not his burden.  He tried to tell Marcus that many times but he doesn’t even listen to his own words(drowning in a river named denial)

Also not one to whore shame but definitely judges in other ways, pregnant with no ring? Blashemous!

He could care less about whether or not you arrived here pregnant or got pregnant here, he thinks its annoying that Marcus won’t stop pondering about this. (Says the demon who left a male survivor out to bleed after hearing rumors spread) 

Turns out it was for naught as eventually you called out those rumors as false revealing you indeed arrived at the manor already pregnant, you just didn’t realize it soon enough as it was early on.

He’s relieved but he won’t show it. 

Just like his counterpart he has no ill will against you or your baby but he’s worried he can't trust himself.

Maxwell is violent he knows what he’s capable of and for that he's grateful to have Marcus within him to help him stay calmed 

He lets Marcus take full control during matches that involve you. too afraid he’ll get a bit crazed during the chase and potentially harm you or the baby.

Usually he’s the one who notices the dungeon before Marcus does, so he’ll point it out to him even remind him of its location if he forgets.

He prefers to stay hidden, hiding behind Marcus’s façade watching your progress through his eyes. 

Maxwell was the Rumpelstiltskin all along. 

“What if she decides to raise the baby single?” “You should help her.”

 “And her close friends, what if they are all too busy to even help?” “You can always lend a helping hand.”

 “If she has a boy who will teach him how to be a gentleman?” “We always wanted our father, remember?” 

“What about a girl?” “We should let girls play billiards now times have changed” 

“who will have the time to school them!?” “I’m good at math we love shapes” 

One time in a match with you, he was suddenly thrown into control, desperately trying to wake up Marcus to finish the match but he had gotten stunned so badly it knocked him out forcing Maxwell to wake up. To his relief he didn’t get violent but after so long of staying hidden behind Marcus having to let Marcus do everything with you, the moment he saw you waddling your pregnant self his way to check up on him he couldn’t help himself starved for your attention. 

Unfortunately to Marcus’s dismay, when he finally awoke taking control back he was forced to watch a replay of seeing himself begging for your family. 

………. Maxwell ignored Marcus’s attempts to bring him out to explain himself. 

Maxwell looks forward to duos because his violent tendencies are better suited here than Marcus is. So if you’re in the match Maxwell is forcing you to stay in the cue ball. 

The match starts and Marcus doesn’t even get a chance to pop out real quick to remind Maxwell to go easy since you’re here as Maxwell is already at full speed coming to your rescue from the other hunter.

Giving birth in their match, At first as like always, Maxwell lets Marcus take full reign of the situation . But as soon as he noticed your blood staining through your clothing he’s already internally yelling at Marcus to hurry up and help you get into birthing position guiding him through the process. 

While Marcus was too busy sulking and overthinking everything throughout your pregnancy Maxwell was spending his time,reading up on a few helpful books. 

Maxwell instantly bonded to the infant before Marcus even had time to process he was even holding the freshly birthed baby.

A lion claiming the cub of another competitor instead of outright killing it and starting fresh? Absurd!! Good thing demons like claiming children

Relieved that he doesn’t feel any urge to smash the poor crying thing

It helps that the baby took more after you

But if its Giving birth with Emily's help, Maxwell has to stay stuck within while  Marcus just panicky paces around waiting for the baby to pop out so he can grab it away. 

Birthed without his presence and now Maxwell is telling Marcus to go buy milk-

No but seriously Maxwell believes it’s best to leave you and the baby alone for a while he doesn’t know how he feels about it all.

He understands there weren't any ill intentions to leave him and Marcus out of the birth but he can't help but be disappointed they didn’t see the first breath.

If he and Marcus weren’t eternally trapped sharing the same body he swears he would have physically pushed Marcus down out of the way so quickly screaming he volunteers as tribute as soon as you mentioned the sad thought of your baby not getting to have any future siblings. 

Its his and Marcus' biological baby.

To be honest it’s most definitely likely Maxwell's fault for this. 

He can’t control himself better like how Marcus does.

Disagrees with Marcus’s solution to abortion. It’s his baby too he should get to have a say in this and besides he loved you first before Marcus ever did.

He’s the reason why “Marcus” found time outside of his busy schedule life just to share lustful moments with you

Argues with Marcus constantly over this distracting him from getting anything done

Is the one who convinced him to view the baby a more of a valuable heir 

100% uses the unborn baby as an excuse to Marcus to spend more time with you.

He knows Marcus loves you now but he makes it a point to remind him He chose you first 

Sure Maxwell was upset that Marcus had to trick and use you just to make Him happy but  now hes even more upset that he has to share you more now with him (acting like they aren't literally fused in one body) 

Its a constant inner fight with the two

Eventually Maxwell finds himself enjoying studying your bellies progress and reading pregnancy books/raising babies

A mixture of a worry wort and just plain out possessive you never leave his sight, his tail is practically superglued around your swollen belly

100% almost convinced Marcus that they could birth the baby themselves no help needed , Thankfully both you won the argument in favor of having Emily for assistance

 Was the one to chase down that pregnant boar but he got to focused in the hunt almost killing the poor thing, Marcus barely able woke up in time to prevent worse. Maxwell was very angry his delicious pork was stolen from him forgetting the whole reason for the hunt was to practice helping it birth its piglet.

As disturbing as the scene was and absurd of a thought , Maxwell can’t help but think you looked the most beautiful you've ever had when you pushed his baby out, the baby's crying sounding like the calming song of a music box as he held the newfound soul in his palms.

He takes pride in the infant getting his demonic eyes and lion's tail. Truthfully Maxwell was worried the baby would look more like how Marcus did  before the billiards hall incident and the manor. 

Uses this knowledge to brag to Marcus about this and poor Marcus is just 

 “We share the same soul and body, we are quite literally fused. If they look like you they look like me too…” “be quiet, you’re jealous.” “ -_- ” 

Extra Ithaqua:

If you came to the manor pregnant:

Will still attack you but not as rough once he notices your belly 

If its only you and him left in the match hell just surrender or let the wind guide you to dungeon safely 

If hes desperate for a tie or win he wont hesitate to eliminate you but he will be gentle picking you up and chairing you 

If you arent matched with him and he finds out the hunter almost put you and your baby at risk hes immediately at your side escorting you places. unbeknownst to you that other hunter has not been getting anysleep with how hard the wind hits their windows  

Duos with him its not something he does but something you do. You dont leave his side in duos and he doesnt mind that youll be following him around the map as he chases even casually talking to you while he does if youre struggling to catch up sometimes hell carry you around but not much in fear of harming the baby if a teammate trys to stun him 

If the other duo hunter tries to attack you the wind is suddenly dragging you away from them to the safest spot to either hide from them or to reach him in time for them to get the hint

Questions you while you sit in the chair about baby stuff he doesnt really understand it much so its curious and very interesting to him 

“Why exactly is it 9 months?” 

“Can you give birth standing?”

“How will you give birth” 

“Does it move in you” 

“Can I feel it” 

Tbh one of the very few hunters who you feel safe and trust enough to be around with your pregnant self/belly

When its time for the birth depending if its in a match with him or outside 

If its in a match with him he’ll immediately throw so he can surrender as soon as possible while all your fellow teammates are pampering you 

If its outside he wont visit you or the baby at all but youll find a bassinet of goodies that just happen to have the same exact fur as his coat inside your room when you finally are free to leave the nursery

After awhile he started visiting you he insisted it was cause he missed getting you in matches but it was obvious he was mostly there to see the baby 

How he essentially became the babies unspoken father is genuinely a mystery but almost everyone in the manor even yourself have accept that in a way Ithaqua is the babys dad now

The first time he held the baby he almost didn't let you grab the baby back he was so lost in staring at the tiny being in his arms he didn't notice you reaching out to take them back 

He backed away from you in an instant before realizing what he done apologizing as he slowly handed them back hesitantly as if he was the parent allowing you to hold your own newborn

Sometimes after visiting the nursery for health check ups youll find him seated outside in the hall waiting for you and the nursery is on the surv side meaning he made his way all the way to here from the hunter side just to be included on the babys health (hunters have their own nursery) 

Your pregnant with his: 

Will only allow you to be matched with him and only him 

You’re not going anywhere near duos with his baby in you 

Will always let you have dungeon even if itll cost him his tie or win 

Sometimes while hes mid chase if he sees you decoding nearby hell make a pit stop to you just check up on the baby before quickly returning to his chase

If you finish your cipher hell insit you watch him chase cause hes certain his baby will be a hunter like him so they need to learn now while their still young (a literal fetus) 

If you really are watching him hell be less rough and gruesome with the surv hes downing and chairing for your sake but if your not hes his usual self 

Sometimes if hes up to it hell throw his match all together depending on the area if he just wants to spend time with you the baby (again literal fetus rn) needs a break and must go sightseeing (uses his pregnant girl as an excuse to take breaks from actually hunting) 

When its reaching birthing time he starts requesting (threatening) doctor to join you in matches from now on just incase its time 

Of course doctor agreed but only because she also cares about your wellbeing and the babies after all a surv and a hunter? Everyone is still shocked to this day esp with how ithaqua isnt even as human who knows what that baby will be also she threatened back that it has to be ties from now on if its her and his gal

If you give birth in his match mid chase he’ll immediately drop what hes doing and go to you

He will slowly guide you to a safe comfortable spot in the map before getting you into birthing position

Hes studied alot for this moment but he can’t help but feel his brain fried and blank

When the match ends (while him and emily helped deliver the other two cipherrushed) you left through the gate being carried by him while emily held your beautiful baby all the way back to the manor

If its outside a match 

Hes there through it all from the moment it started to the end 

But if its when hes in a a game but your not he will feel incredibly guilty if he misses the birth
