Something heavily weighing on me during my TMI reread is Idris and how things work with where the shadowhunters live?
Juke and Jocelyn lived there up until the uprising and had never left? They had no idea what the mundane world was really like and had to adapt to this strange foreign place with computers and concrete etc.
So most nephilim children are raised there then shipped off to wherever they are needed but like… what about the shadowhunters who live there year round? Thinking of dianas family and the weapons shop. Like are they also being shipped out to fight demons then they go home?
I guess its confusing bc every series is centered around nephilim youths who live in or near an institute. And i wonder what implications this has for the cohort who are trapped in idris… do they have enough supplies to feed and clothe and support a population with NO outside help? Hello do they even have farms?
