This is an especially hard week for true animal lovers. Our feeds are filled with photos of murdered babies. We wonder how the people we love, people we know are kind and good, can contribute to animal suffering and death and not care. We wonder how people can talk about love, peace, compassion and joy yet celebrate the holidays with violence and apathy.
