And it's CRAZY how quick they'll try some defamation of character the moment they see something they don't agree with (on a blog with trigger warnings so that you wouldn't have to see those things that you don't agree with)

Funny too how quickly people want to justify something they like if it falls in said fcked up category. Like....you can like fcked up media. You can enjoy fcked up characters even if they have no redeeming qualities. Things really aren't just black or white, yo.

Besides. I've read A LOT of messed up sh*t on the internet. I can't point fingers at this stuff either because -- not that anyone needs to know this <33 --- *I* went through some really traumatic BS for a period of time when I was younger. And it really fked me up.

The only way I knew how to properly process that sh*t was by writing it happening to fictional characters. (I mean, I didn't post it, but that's my personal preference.) -- AND I processed the stuff by also *reading* it.

So knowing my entire experience with all of the above, I just can't really take that anon seriously? Like it would be one thing to have canon proof of you being a terrible nasty sonnuvagun, THEN I could accurately process said evidence and go from there.

But really all their evidence is: "Wow they support (insert problematic ship)"

And hey -- I respect their opinion. Problematic ships are problematic for a reason. But certainly the specific ship in question here was not something that really outright crossed my line.
