I'm fascinated by the homunculus's relationship with Kimblee

Cause they never try to convince him to open up the portal. Yeah, he's a coward and probably never do it but they never even try

Which is odd cause they're one short on promise day, and yet they never even suggest it to him. Instead, they give him two philosophers' stones

Which makes me think it's because they all like him

Envy and him banter, Wrath makes sure he's perfectly healthy to go on his mission, and Pride himself calls him for help

So I gotta assume they all on some level like him and they don't ask because a part of them is scared he won't survive it

Instead, pride protects him during their fight with Al, and when he's injured and the lion guy uses him as a sheild, he's reluctant to hurt him and then when they get away he eats him and makes him a part of himself

And of course, the one guy they all decided they like is the crazy expload everything guy
